  • May is coming… I think I will make it a goal to blog everyday in the month of May. The merry old month of May! 

  • A little effort goes a long way

    Life is always better when you make an effort. 
    Seems like something everyone should know right? 
    I haven’t always known it. 
    That and maybe it’s too easy for me to be lazy sometimes… 

  • A day late and a dollar short like always! Best of 2012!

    Actually, in real life I am almost never late, it stresses me out. I am one of those very anal people that have to arrive fifteen minutes early to any appointment just to feel like I’m on time. In my defense, if I am going to someone’s house for dinner or a party, I won’t go in early, but I’ll wait outside or in the area until it’s time to arrive. Okay, maybe I should put the crazy away for awhile.  
    Here are the very few shots that I took in 2012 that I love enough to post. 
    This one was an ipad shot and maybe it had a little editing, but I like it. Like mother, like daughter, like puppy…

    It was a great year. I could have taken more pictures, but I couldn’t have had a better time.

  • Picture practice

    My friend Rob and I had a photo shoot today. 
    There were a couple of places I had been dying to get someone to pose for me at and he was willing.
    It was fun. I thought of about ten different poses I wish I had asked him to do though when we had left.
    Because my brain can be so slow, next time I will make a list and try to visualize the shots I want before hand. I got some nice ones though. I just need to finish editing. 
    There is this really great tree… 
    I will be back to visit it.
    This is my favorite. At least from a story telling perspective. 
    Well, that’s what I’ve been up to,at least today.

    That’s all I’ve got! At least for now. I wanted to fit something in before September was over. 
    I will work hard on my favorite things for next month, it should be easy since October has several of my favorite things in it!

  • Busy, busy, busy!

    Wrapping up the school year. Tonight was Miss Iz’s honors ceremony. She has been rocking a 3.8 all year! That’s my girl. Charlie’s honors ceremony is next. I think I had more time when they were babies!

  • Finished up my grandparents yard sale today! Tomorrow I can sleep! Yea!

  • What was I thinking?

     

     

    I mean really? a post every day?

    I should have done one or two quality posts a week.

    That would be far better then these measly little microblogs I’ve been doing, right?

    Well, maybe tomorrow I will do something of quality. I’m not holding my breath though.

    Something exciting around our house, this year we brought home a few frog eggs instead of frogs and now we have tiny tadpoles swimming and eating in our pond.

    Tomorrow Cooper and I are getting our morning glory seeds so we can plant them, better late then never.

  • I made it!

    I’m 40. I had a half day of the meloncollies and then it was bring it on tiime! Here’s to the first day of my new adventure.
