  • Change scares the crap out of me… I’m sorry but that is the nicest word I can use for it.

I’m sure that isn’t atypical. No one likes to have their world put in a blender.

I try to put a positive spin on it and think from change comes so many new opportunities and experiences… Yes I know that is true. I know that it won’t be bad for us.

It still scares the bejezus out of me.

  • What kind of change?  Not quite sure what you mean. But I’m here for you!  (((hugs)))

  • Yeah…change is scary, but for me…lately…change is good.  That’s what I wish for you…good change.  :)

ryc:  The dope can be whatever you need at the time.  !!

  • well at least you’ve got the positive spin thing down… that’s the hardest part… trying to see the good in it… I do know that… all too well…

and by the by, I don’t think I’ve ever seen the word “bejezus” written out before… thou it’s one of my favorite to say… …bejezus, kinda have to get the shivers to say it thou…

    hope everything is ok…

    ttfn…

  • Sometimes the thought of change does that to me too, but lately I’ve been desperately wanting change.

    Really? What happened?

  • We always called it “Bill and Ted’s excellent adventure”….only putting our own names in there. Same as a positive spin I guess.  I have had the Bejeebers/bejezus scared out of me a few times. I hope it’s not real bad for you. Steady as she goes …and I’m thinking of you and yours.

  • Change can be good…kinda depends what type of change.
    Care to elaborate, sweetie?

    Hugs,
    L

  • I think we should accept whatever changes that would come our way.

    Have a pleasant a day!!!!

  • If you say so.

  • I’m a creature of habit so hear where you’re coming from regarding change. Think your positive outlook is about right, take a deep breath and embrace those opportunities *hugs*

  • change is a scary thing, but we have to change to grow eh ?

  • be like the beautiful ballerina and keep your eyes on the cute guy in the wings whilst you do your pirouettes it’ll keep you from getting too dizzy while the world spins around you

  • Mmmmm, change, I am inclined to agree…….it’s like ‘circumstances’ – I HATE that word!!!!!  Thinking of you, hope you’ll update us soon on the changes taking place.  You’re a brave gal though, and able to do LOTS!  Hang in there, thinking of you!

  • any changes in particuliar?  keep the positive spin going!

  • Change is the hardest thing for most people. The unknown. Really. It is the most difficult thing. I have a lot of books on dealing with change. Ya know the Who Moved My Cheese Shit…ANYHOO. Come stay with me! I don’t have any change. HAHAHAHA

  • New job?  Pregnant?

  • i love change. i get bored too easily.

  • I HATE CHANGE!!

I am sorry I ain’t stopped by in awhile- I  would give you a really good excuse– if I had one.

    But I don’t.

As penance I will go back and read all previous posts that I have missed.

    I PROMISE>

  • Change is the only thing constant in this world, honey. Time passes, things change. Change is also the only thing that makes us grow, makes us stronger, and um… helps us CHANGE.

Yeah, it’s uncomfortable. Yeah, it’s scary sometimes. But it’s almost always worth it.

  • change is hard to handle…but without it, no growth…think of what the seed goes through before we enjoy the flower!

  • tell me about it. I moved from my home town to a place where I knew no one…turned out wonderful! We love it here and have so many opportunities open to us! I also think that is why it took me awhile to realize I wanted to go back into teaching…it meant leaving something comfortable…but now I have established myself in this area and feel good about making this change.

  • I know what you mean!  I am losing my job three weeks from tomorrow after 6.5 years of being a “temp” at the same place.  I want to throw myself down at someone’s feet and beg for them to keep me……….but who knows what I might be missing if I did that?  For now, I am ok.

  • I love change!  I know that’s a little weird, but can’t help it.  My D2 would rather die than have to make a change, though, so I can relate a little bit to you.
