How I See It
We are hanging out at the house and playing on the slip and slide today.
Someone asked me to show them how I see Detroit…
I see my beautiful sister and my nephew.
I see the ArtOMat…
I see my Sister’s pugs they are always vastly entertaining…
I see the quilt I made for my Sister, I like visiting it, it was one of my favorites and hard to let go… So I visit it.
I see cool restaurants…
I see interesting signs and lettering EVERYWHERE…
Interesting people EVERYWHERE.
I see a zoo!
Detroit is a great place to visit…
I’ll show you more of what I see here.. later…
I promise.

Did you get the pic of the two guys?
I want to see Detroit with you!
Dear Angie,
Nice to see postive images of Detroit. I, for one, am always a cheerleader for my home town of Los Angeles, which similarly gets a bad rap in the media.

I’ve seen about half of these sights in person. Sadly, I was not aware of the Art-O-Mat until I started to read your blog. The polar bear exhibit at the Detroit Zoo is wonderful . . .

Sorry I didn’t write yesterday and wish you a safe trip. I hope getting there went well. Love the pictures. I ‘ll have to try those restaurants if I’m ever there. That pug is so cute but I hope you yelled at him for sitting on that gorgeous quilt. (He He)
A good reminder that anywhere we live is filled with wonders, if one only has eyes to see them. You have a remarkable eye for the world around you. And we’re all blessed by it. Keep showing us your unique take on the world you live in.
Very nice. I love the first picture. So cool.
Hope you are having a wonderful summer. Take care.
Although I spent a week in Ann Arbor, I did not make it to Detroit! I enjoyed your unique “view/perspective” of it as shown in this post!
I love finding great and different places to eat when I travel! If you see my most recent post, my newest goal will be to find somewhere close by where I can get a muffuletta!!!!
I haven’t been to Detroit in years and years-I’m sure much has changed. My cousins used to live in Birmingham. Hope you have a great trip!
