Link edition
I thought I would take a page from my friend thenarrator and do a linking tour through what I found of interest today.
BB61 takes us to The Devil’s Den. mlbncsga shares my love of a good road trip and teaches me a word I plan on using a lot “suvate!” Streetphotos doesn’t mess with farmers’.fauquet celebrates a friends life. My hubbies favorite cartoon strip lately I love when he reads it to me.(He does the voices. shhh…don’t tell him I told you.)
That was fun! I might have to try that again sometime.
What do you think?
Critiques, please… Ben and I each like a different one. I’m interested in which you guys like!
I’m not telling which I chose yet. :-b

I like the top one
Devil’s Den is a cool place.
The links take a lot of time, but I love getting people to check out good stuff.
I’m drawn to the complexity of the lower photo, but love the simplicity of the top one. So, I don’t know.
I like the second one best, because it’s off center and at a more interesting angle. But the top one is nice and symmetrical, appealing to my anal, Virgo side. Both of them remind me of something I used to say when someone pissed me off… something about wanting to pop their head off like a dandelion! It was one of the nicer things I said… sadly.
Hey Anj. Thanks for the comments. Re: Spongebaths–we are working that out. So far the price it too high
Thanks for the shoutout Angi!
I like number 1, it has good composition and balance. Only changes I would make is to lighten the stem a bit, and boost up the contrast a touch.
I like the first one better
RYC: Glad I could help you waste some time today, too! Oh, I’ve never lived in Florida. And I have two cats (Sally & Max) and one dog (Kerry); and God help me, I will never have fish again unless someone else is cleaning the tank! Litter boxes are bad enough, man. Have a great day!
I like the second one. It is very architectural looking.
THE PROJECT!
ryc: I kept the camera dry for the sprinkler shot with zoom. I was standing on a deck, looking straight down on it. The sprinkler doesn’t shoot high so that made it even easier. Cool shot, wasn’t it! As for the moving lights during take off, the orange/black areas are simply the skyline at sunset. It’s all wavy and the lights are all streaky because I was hurtling down a runway at several hundred miles an hour (or whatever).
I think they both work together in sequence. i would cut a double window matt and place the two of them side by side in a single frame
i loved your links Ang,thanks. I like both photos, the top on is quiter but the bottom one is incredible.
i like the second one…..
ryc: we are getting married monday morning at 930
ryc:
^ We don’t smoke anymore. That’s a mojito straw!!!
I can’t pick. I like them both.
If I were to put one on my wall? I’d have to go with number 2 though.
I like the first one better.
The simple elegance of the first one.
The first one, it’s more subtle and almost but not quite centered and that’s appealing to me.
i like the first one better….
Top dandelion but the second has a royal blue sky…so both! LOL! Click your protected tab and help me with an art question please.
I have to go with the bottom one. more detail
Wow – those pictures are amazing – I love the bottom one. It’s such an interesting angle, it almost looks like a strange many legged insect of some kind. Really fabulous.
I like the bottom one. Like a bug’s eye view!
I like the second one.
Do I have to choose? I like them both! I haven’t worked with micro yet. Hope to soon, have a great day girl!
I think I’ ll go for…..ummm…..hang on…..picture A. Both lovely but the 1st one looks stoic in it’s defianc to hold on to those seeds!
I like the top one– it’s more mysterious!!!
Definitely the second one for me.
