  • Counting sheep does not work! I’ve tried it.

I can’t sleep again. This is the fourth time this week that I’ve seen 3:30 a.m. I don’t get it. I would understand if I took a nap in the afternoon but I haven’t. I just lay in bed and I can’t stop thinking. It’s not like I’m coming up with world peace either. I just keep thinking about stupid stuff.

So after tossing and turning for the last hour I’m now downstairs flipping past reruns of Saturday Night Live and bad infomercial’s pausing now and then to tap on my computer.

Hmmm the Freemoneytopayyourbills book, I wonder if that’s any good. Fresh Prince reruns, a Martin Lawrence movie, the one with DannyDeVito. Now Taxi  reruns I wouldn’t mind watching of course those aren’t on.  Okay Brigadoons on TCM I haven’t seen that in forever, Gotta love it and of course it’s at the end. Right where the village wakes up again because he Loves her enough to change the curse.

Does anyone else remember the SFM Holiday network movies? That’s the first time I saw this…and it’s done. Ahh well back to flipping. Anyway I loved those  they used to show  Shirley Temple movies and Boy’s Town which I remember crying through part of. What can I say I was a hormonal kid..

You know Conan O’Brien looks like a big plastic Qpee doll. Is it just me?

Pee Wees Playhouse is on CN. I always think of my sister when I see this, So I’ll pause on this channel and think of you D.

Okay now this is getting ridiculously long and going nowhere. I wish I had Microsoft word on my toy but Ben still hasn’t put it on and when I said I would do it he said No, go figure. So that’s why I’m rambling here. I have nowhere else to go. BooHoo. Okay enough I’ll go but I’m still not tired and I don’t know what to do. Clean the Bathroom maybe. continue watching PeeWee. He’s making PB&J with no bread. What? No more nostalgia, it’s time to flip again. I don’t mean mentally but I might be there soon if I don’t get some sleep.  Here’s hoping.

  • wow I did alot

Okay so I have this wonderful new toy and I don’t have a writing program on it. It’s driving me nuts! I get on I listen to my music I visit xanga… as some of you have probably noticed since I check into your sights often to see if anyone is posting. And that’s all I can do so far. I’m figuring out how to do things by myself but I have to wait for my husband to find me the software for Microsoft word or something. I did watch a movie today that was cool.

I accomplished so much today. I cleared out the cupboards and dropped off a bunch of stuff at the food pantry. The kids and I cleared out Charlie’s room so that tomorrow we can start ripping out the carpet and painting. I got tons of laundry done but there’s always a ton to do here. I also finished staining a mission style rocking chair that I’m giving my Pop for his birthday tomorrow. I’m going to sneak it into the house when he’s at work. The kids and I also took an hour at the beach they earned it.

WOW I got a lot done. It’s nice to see it all written out like this.

Now I just need to go to sleep. But I’m all hyper  I’ll read, flip channels, play with my toy.

I  meant my computer. What did you think I meant. Man, some people just can’t get their minds out of the gutter.

  • what? What? WHAT?

Tonight I took my daughter to a birthday party at the Burger King Play land. My ears are still ringing. twenty, six year olds running and screaming in one little room could rival almost any rock concert. So now I have my buds in listening to my itunes library and posting on xanga oh how nice.

  • NEW COMPUTER!!!

I got a new laptop, I can’t believe it… me the techno phob. I’m so excited I just want to sit here and play with my new toy. I luuuuuuv it. Next time I can’t sleep I’ll be able to sit in bed and make my list ha. time to go see if I can connect my camera to my computer. hee hee.

  • mind reading invisible people in invisible pick up trucks?

I have a magic corner at the end of my driveway!!! About a month ago I dragged an old dresser out there and an hour later it was gone! So I’m cleaning out the garage slowly since it is a giant under taking. I had a couple of rusty old chairs so I thought why not and dragged them out there last night. This morning they were still there when I went out to clean again at nap time.  I thought bummer I’m probably going to have to hall them to the dump. I went back into the house and about a half hour later I was sitting on the porch and realized they were gone!!  I was so excited I immediately started wondering what else I could drag out there. I wonder…

  •

I’m trying to learn how to do photos on my sight… Ben is being very patient with me.

  • AHHHHHHH…. I have a toddler…..

Well we cut out of church early today because Cooper has been in rare form every time Ben or I went to go somewhere else he would start screaming and just forget about the nursery he just screamed and screamed.

He was the only one who went to sleep early last night the rest of us stayed up to see the meteor shower, which turned out to be a dud because the moon was too bright. Oh well,I saw three, Ben saw about a half a dozen, and Charlie saw one. Isabelle is a bit upset she didn’t see any but I told her we would try again in October if it’s not on a school night and we’ll try to go to the observatory this weekend to see Jupiter. she’s okay with that.

Definitely early bed time tonight though. yeah for me.

  • It’s a mouse, it’s a rat . it’s a plane…

I am a home wrecker. Yesterday the kids and I were cleaning out the garage when we disturbed a nest of something. Me being the bright person that I am (dripping sarcasm)suggested to the kids that we catch the little babies and put them in a container to identify. So we chased them around the garage with a washcloth catching two.

It did work, we were able to identify them online as voles. But I didn’t realize two things… One it only took the kids a second to decide that they were attached to them. and two it’s really hard to kill something when you’ve kept it in a critter keeper.

Not that I’m blood thirsty or anything but these things have ripped up our yard. So in the end I convinced the kids that they would be better off if we released them in the field so they could find their mommy… or an owl… Anyway I’ll spray a deuteron and set up traps. It’s much easier to kill something when you don’t have to look at it… and the kids quickly got over their heart break when they filled the critter keeper with a toad. Oh how fickle youth.

  • Get off me! Mom Isabelle’s touching me…. MOM Charlie’s in my room…MOOOOOOMMMMMMM

Well things aere more normal around here now that Is is back. I missed her. It’s time to breath now, the next few weeks are almost empty but I’m sure we’ll manage. I might let the big kids stay up really really late and goto the film festival this week. Charlie wanted to watch Montyyu Python and the Holy Grail but I think we’ll wauit for the Wizard of Oz.  we’ll see.
