Picture practice
My friend Rob and I had a photo shoot today. There were a couple of places I had been dying to get someone to pose for me at and he was willing. It was fun. I thought of about ten different poses I wish I had asked him to do though when we had left.Because my brain can be so slow, next time I will make a list and try to visualize the shots I want before hand. I got some nice ones though. I just need to finish editing. There is this really great tree…I will be back to visit it.This is my favorite. At least from a story telling perspective.Well, that’s what I’ve been up to,at least today. What’s going on with you guys? -
Cooper and I had to go for a drive today.
Cooper, I want a picture of the tree… Cooper could you… COOOPER!
This tree… I keep thinking I can get a better shot of… for some reason I am always disappointed.
This is my in the ditch tree…
This winter I took this picture of it and then slid into the ditch when I tried to leave.
I like this shot I think… I like the frame the branches make…
I like it more with the red filter.
What do you think?
On the way home we found this girl. She was posing so pretty like a super model…
Unfortunately she had ME who has a new camera and still doesn’t know how to USE it…
She only stuck around for five shots before she left, unfortunately it was on the fifth shot I figured out I need to turn off my auto focus so that I could get the camera to focus on HER instead of the branches.
What a yutz I am…
Any ideas on how I can capture the tree so that it is a BETTER picture?!?
Or should I just give it up?

I was at the school last week talking to the lady who supervises recess.
Her-”So I noticed Isabelle wearing big ole snow boots the other day.It was 82 degrees out!” she said laughing.
Me-”I know! I started working mornings and I didn’t know she was wearing them. she said her other shoes weren’t fitting!”
Her-”I knew it must have been something like that, but let me tell you, she sure can kick the soccer ball with those big ole boots on.” she said with a BIG smile.
AHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Some of what I saw…
EDIT
Nattata finally has her DOORS UP!
She was on Vacation on the final day.
****************************************************************
This morning I came home from work and saw a beautiful web in one of our trees.
I insisted that my poor hubby come out and look at it, with it’s sparkling morning dew and perfect spirals.
As we stood there he pointed out at least ten more webs in the same tree!
I tried to get a picture of all of them, but no matter what angle I went to, the light wouldn’t cooperate.
The reason the greens look different, are because they are the leaves from different trees in our yard.
The ones that had nothing but sky behind them wouldn’t show up this morning because it was wet and foggy out.
Oh how I longed for a nice Macro lens!
Now that I have a job though, my dreams of a new camera may not be that far off!
I didn’t see any spiders, I imagine they were all taking refuge under the leaves to avoid the slight drizzle.
Tell me what you saw today!
DO IT NOW!
I’m demanding and you know you like it.

Squatter Update
I see why they chose this tree.
The kids couldn’t even see the baby, they thought nothing was there, it blends so well.
I snapped this shot and got out of the way because the parents freaked when they saw me near the tree and one of them wasn’t in the nest.
It was funny because the kids had been running around it for an hour.
I was worried they wouldn’t come back.
This morning there was a parent there, so its all good.
Now if they would just get out of my tree so Ben can put the hammock up!

I like it…
JustmeAndy suggested that I do the tree in B&W… So I did.
Finishing the cardinals today and taking a NAP.
