  • Cream colored ponies and crisp apple streudles…

    FAVORITE MUSIC

Vampire Weekend, I just got their album Contra.  I love it.

Their music remind me of so many of my favorite musicians, Paul Simon, Elvis Costello, with a little Oingo Boingo thrown in… I can’t wait to hear more.

I chose the song Punk because it’s raining outside today. What do we do on rainy days?

    We wear raincoats of course!

    THE CAR

Working on it with my Pop is one of my favorite things…and I get to do that soon!

Is there something you’ve been looking forward to all winter that you get to do soon???

    WELL…

    What is it?

  • Just did it. Got to sing with a fun group of musicians. That might not count, because I’ve been waiting longer than winter to do it. Does waiting many winters to do it work?  What a fun video.  The energy reminds me of my nine year old, Miss A. hahahaha. Have a good one. Cool auto! Made back in the day when they knew how to make cars last!

  • love that good ol’ American car … hmmm … sit on the back porch and watch the sprinklers! ha

  • I have been picking things to eat from my garden. I have waited all winter for that! We have radishes, and parsley and chives and mint and dandylion greens…

  • Just did one of the things. Spent a week near and in Charleston, fishing, eating, antique shopping, playing with grandchildren. Rode bikes with my 86 year old Dad! (favorite thing). Went shopping with daughter in Charleston (another favorite).
Now, looking forward to finishing and using my studio.

  • yes, learn to swim under waterfalls

    is that a corvair?

  • I always look forward to my plants going back outside where they belong. Who wants to be shoved in a storage shed all winter?

  • LOL!  Came on Jaynebug’s req.  Can’t help but smile watching the video.  The car looks like a real beauty!  I’ve been looking forward to being outside in the beautiful weather after the long Chicago winter!

  • On rainy days I like to curl up with a blanket and listen to it softly hitting an open window. Gives my soul peace. Great vid, very quirky :)

  • Yes!  Putting away coats and jackets, going outside with flipflops on, seeing green green green instead of brown!  I love it.  When I was a kid I worked on cars with my Dad – it was the best.  Peace

  • I’m harvesting cilantro from my garden but that’s all that’s ready so far – but working in it is always on my winter dream list – I have everything planted except brocoli.  I wish I had a picture of Mary Sue working on the car with Daddy – She had the same blonde hair only real long – and when they were finished her hair looked like it had been dipped in motor oil on the ends – that is a great memory – thanks Sis and Ang…ilym
