What’s in a name…A shark by any other would smell as fishy?
Tonight while I was making dinner Cooper sat down for a conversation.
He was wearing his pirate patch and looked quite solemn.
Cooper- “Mom, call me Shark.”
Me- “Okay Shark, Why am I calling you Shark? I like Cooper.”
Cooper/ Shark- “Cooper is the name of a car, a little car, Shark is way cooler.”
Me-”Ahhh I see. Well why don’t we call you Drake? That’s your name too, and it’s cool.”
Cooper/Shark- “Drake means dragon, and that’s cool, but I like Shark better..”
Lifting his eye patch he got a look of pure joy on his face…
Cooper/Shark/ Drake- “I KNOW! I can be Shark Drake, a Shark that spits flames is way cooler then a little car.”
Now how does one argue with that?
(I’m so glad Spring is here, I actually think I’m going to want to go take pictures again.)

I love hearing Cooper stories!…uh, I mean Shark Drake stories!
Haha! I love the way little minds work.
I miss little kid logic!
Great story!
I’d reverse it: Drake Shark, Private Eye. But a fire-breathing shark is awesome, indeed!
But… but… but… I LOVE the little car… especially in electric blue…
Oh, the logic of a young boy! Fun stuff.
I happen to love mini-coopers myself… that’s what I’d hoped to have for my next car; but it appears that dream will have to wait for a while.
LOL.
lol I like that logic!
that is so cute
I might have told you one of the boys little friends went home very upset cause my son told him that my mom said,”your name Chad is a country in Africa.”
thats adorable!
haha that is great!!
I don’t care what you call Shark Drake Mornin Glorie…He’s just stinkin cute…ilym
Drake means a male duck, doesn’t it?
One doesn’t argue with that. When he is right, he is right.
Shark Drake is cool!
I want to be called “HAPPY” from now on…
I hope Ang , you collect in a book or on a special Words page all of the genuine dialogues you have with Cooper . They are precious .
i did this in the past with some grandchildren and 12 years later it is a delight to read again them .
Enjoy this week .
Love
Michel
And I add Cooper’s face is adorable …. and mischievous
@fauquet - Michel. Right now I only have an electronic copy of all of their little behaviors, but someday I plan on making them each a book. I think it’s wonderful that you did that for you grandchildren… Did you see the stick bug on top of Cooper’s head?
I hope you and your family are having a wonderful Easter!
This will not actually have effect, I think so. 1 8 0. What exactly you’re writing is a horrible mistake. here 9 8. It won’t truly have success, I believe so. 9 web LINK. Quite useful info, much thanks for the post.
