OOPS
I didn’t realize I had let so long go by…
Cooper and I had a date tonight. We went to Sparky’s diner and had greasy hamburgers, deep fired mushrooms and a giant chocolate shake with a cherry on top.
As I sat there watching my five year old try to lick whipped cream off of his forehead, I wanted my camera… I thought, what a nice blog this would make…
Of course I didn’t have my camera… *sigh*
I’m happy about the fact that I wanted to blog anyway.
Have you ever had a period of blogging burnout?

I thought Coop was your son not your date
Yes, I think we all go thru it… sometimes its a few days, others it’s much longer!
@Babyboomerjill - He is my son… lol We had Mommy- Cooper time.
@angi1972 - yes, I know I’m just teasing you -won’t it be fun if we had a date who tried to lick the whip cream off his forehead? lol
Tell Marti I changed my name on xanga and her sister too and her Jay,too.
Yes I have but I’ve never been very good at posting often anyway so I’m sure it goes unnoticed by most. You, on the other hand…….are missed a lot. Peace
Yep, I think we have all been there!
How wonderful that you and Cooper had a date, we need to teach our children what is the right way to behave on dates and this is a great start!!! Although I sure wish you had your camera for a shot of him and that whipped cream!!! Next time!!!
Licking whipped cram off the forehead… yeah……. I post every other day… sort of. A few times I have been blog blocked, and I just go back into my archives and post an oldie but goodie!
I have second thoughts every time I post and get nearly no comments. It’s too akin to my career — this working on an idea and finding no audience — and it’s not something I want another reminding of. I’m not sure why I keep going. I guess I would miss the few friends/readers who are still around. But that number dwindles all the time.
I’ve missed your photos as well.
It seems to coincide with biking burnout for me. Then I read someone’s really good post and I get all fired up again. Favorable comments on my posts are encouraging too.
Remember, we’re living vicariously through you; don’t let us down.
everybody does.
It sounds like a good date! I’m going through Xanga burnout now. It’s lasted much longer then I thought it would.
you could go back again
Have I ever had a period of blog burnout? Um….no. Never.
Yep, it happens to me all the time! I spend a lot of time on flickr just looking at all the wonderful pictures! Have a great week!
Every day! I just haven’t had a ton of stuff to say lately.
Yup.. I have. I hope I’m at the tail end of it now.
