What’s in a name?
Well here she is…
My Pop helped me replace the alternator and taught me how to change the oil.
We are compiling a list of other things that need to be done. She is going to be a learning experience.
I am hoping for one more day of warm sunny weather so that I can run some fuel stabilizer through before we put her away.
I keep calling her SHE because SHE doesn’t have a name yet.
The kids think we should call her Baker, my Pop suggested Louise the Lark, I kinda like Ethel Lark myself…
What do you think we should name her?

I think you should call her Gertrude. I knew a Gertrude once. She passed awy a few years back, but I still think about the influence she has made in my life. She was my cub scout leader when I was 9. She sang opera and had a voice beautiful as a meadow lark. Then it is decided, I will call her Gertrude regardless of any other name you give to her.

You are going to have to tell me a bit more about this beauty, I must of missed the story behind her! What a beautiful and fancy ride, what year is she? I know its not nice to ask a ladies age, but she has aged well and should be proud of her age!
I am all for naming her after one of the pink ladies from Grease, I think she could really be a Rizzo!
Ethel was my step mother’s name so I vote for Rizzo…

@the_fur_pimp - I can’t believe I actually pay some one to do that all of the time! Of course I suppose most of what I am paying for is the convenince of getting rid of the oil.

@mlbncsga - Because the winter here is hard on cars, with all of the snow and wet and salt on the roads… So she will strickly be a perfect weather car. That’s ok… it makes it more fun when I do get to drive her, right?!
