Angi I have an odd question to ask, do you just stop along the road when you see a really cool place to send your kids to grab the shot? If so, how in the heck do you get them to do this????
@firefighterswife - Candy~! Not so odd a question… Sometimes I do stop along the road… sometimes I know of a spot that looks good and I plan an outting. As for getting them to DO things… well that’s a little harder. I ask Isabelle and charlie to pose, jump, or do a silly dance sometimes, but mostly they just do what they are going to do and I take fifty or sixty pictures and end up with one I like… IN this case Cooper and I were having a conversation about the clouds and it just worked out nicely… There are ways to lead them to where you want them to go… Like what would you DO with that (stick, rock, weed…whatever) if it were a (gun, candy, bike handle, perascope…) you know what I mean? lol That was a fun question!
that is an awesome picture. but then so are you
@firefighterswife - LOL-I was wondering the same thing! my punks are used to me pulling over, but they aren’t terribly cooperative about being getting involved!
that and flamingos
Oh wow– that sky is awesome!!
yes… I would have to agree with you, Ang… I love this one as well.
i’ll bet that photo could win in a contest !
Amazing photo .ane even more ! Is Cooper a poet , or a botanist or a farmer checking if the wheat is mature ? This impressionist photo is also very symbolic .
Love
Michel
That really is a great photo!
Regarding the 50 or 60 shots: we met a guy on the trail one day who called that the “spray and pray” method. Gotta love digital cameras. All those throw away shots are free. That one really is good.
I like it too. I love the digital age. Snap away!
Awesome indeed. Rich and dreamy too.
I love this one too and think maybe you ought to be a childrens photographer. You’ve got a great little system going there. I saw our local ‘pro’ this summer setting up her clients in a corn field. I know she gets a lot for shoots like that. Anyway, I like the horizons idea too. Peace
Wonderful picture! love it, the color is just right!
A thousand words for that one picture Angie. Wonderful.
Dang Mornin Glorie…the year is slip slidin away….I like the Horizons PPS idea – I LOVE the Cooper shot – You remind me a little of the Wyeth’s….Hope you and the kids enjoy this last week of freedom from school….Ya’ll do start back after labor day don’t ya? ILYM
That is a framer! Just gorgeous Ang!! I love it too!
Amazing!! I love this!!!
@angi1972 - Thanks Angi, I am going to have to try your tricks sometime to grab the shot! I love this photo!!!
This one is fabulous! The sky almost comes right at you as you look at the shot. Excellent!
Well done! Thanks
Oh, that is good!
This is an excellent shot — the sky and the foreground are beautifully tied together by Cooper in deep thought! I love it!
Oh, I love that picture, too. That’s a great shot! I hope you find some good opportunities to take pictures this fall!!!!
I haven’t taken as many pictures as last summer….but I’ve still taken quite a few.

A classic!!!
This IS a lovely pic! Does it have a title? I was thinking something like, “Warmth and Wonder” or “A Moment’s Dream”.
…But then again, I’m cheesy like that.
entertainment, yeah that’s a good name for it
All I know is that I used to have hair then I had kids
