  • Some of what I saw…

     Poppy field

I see poppies everywhere and I wish I had some…

    Maybe next summer.

    Cooper splash

I saw Cooper enjoying the water at Lake Bellaire.

By July maybe it will be warm enough to swim in. *sigh*

    dandilion gathering

I saw lots of dandelions and couldn’t decide which to focus on so I thought I’d try something different…

I don’t think I’ll do it again… at least not on purpose!

    isabelle dandilion

I saw my daughter driving me nuts and trying to ruin my shot…

    or DID she?

    sparkly daisies

I saw these beautiful daisies all sparkly with dew…

but I couldn’t get the sparkles to show!

I don’t know what it is but my whites are always washed out and overexposed…

I am going to beg my brilliant brother in law for help on how to fix this when we go to Detroit next weekend.

Something I haven’t seen in a year, but am seeing soon is SEEDSOWER!

She called to say she is on the road and headed this way. I can’t wait!

I am sure you are going to be sick of seeing what I saw because we are going to do so much!

NOW… Tell me what have you seen???

  • So THAT’S what those flowers are called. When I was up in NC/TN they were all over. They were so pretty. We don’t seem to have them down here. :(

  • I was just thinking how pretty the daisies were

hey, give Beth a hug for me

  • red poppies are my favorite flowers. Nice. I like your daughter in the shot.

  • I love poppies, too. I photographed some yesterday, but they didn’t look as nice as yours. I have some other photos up of things I have seen lately. Enjoy Beth! I can’t wait to hear about it!

  • i saw a type of bug that i’ve never seen before, and regretted not having my camera ready…do you have colored filters, for your camera…sometimes the use of lens filters, can compensate for the wash out… don’t know why i don’t have a good camera, anymore, as it was once my favorite past time….also, try using a reflector, or a mirror, to minimize shadows on things like daisies…as a kid, i used to experiment by shooting through sheets of colored cellophane…great shot of your daughter, in spite of her mischief…nice work, Ang!…give Beth a squish, for me, please…hugs, animal

  • you could have focused on one of the closer dandelions like ya did for the daisies shot (which is pretty, btw)

ya might just have to get closer for the dew. i dunno, i’d have to see it for myself. the lighting is different from when you first saw the glistening dew. then ya went down to shoot, so the lighting is now a different angle

  • Poppyseed still in its envelope and freckles, fresh freckles! But freckles on my face too… §°> Do give her a hug, please!

  • I love what you have seen!!! I hope you and seedsower have a great time together!!! Give each other a hug from me!!!

I did capture rain drops on my flowers, I used a close up setting. Not sure it this helps, keep trying!!! I like seeing all your shots and attempts!!! You have such a great eye. Of course the shots of the kids are my favorites!!! Such cute monsters you have!!!

  • Nice pics. I too love poppies and daisies. The look lovely with buttercups and blue cornflowers. Do you have them in MI  ?

  • I work at a casino. So, I see drunken idiots who spent their kid’s college fund for a chance to win the ultimate JackPot!

Ultimate Jackpot: less money than they spend to get it.
