I stood under the tree and watched hundreds of them buzzing, the sound filled my ears…
unfortunately they were all WAY over my head sometimes it’s a pain being short.
It’s a good year for bees.

We are going for a little road trip today to visit the graves of my Grandma Buffalo, Ben’s brother Fred and Mom Linda.
We will be taking some flowers, clearing the leaves, and just spending a few minutes to say Hi and tell them we miss them.
Are you visiting anyone this weekend?

No visits are planned from here. All the dead people I would care to visit are in Heaven, so I just ask God to tell ‘em I said Hi!

@droptop11 - You have to know how to buzz just right. Then you wiggle your butt and do a little dance…. Now go outside and try it and get someone to video tape it for me.

great photos! it is a good year for flowering trees here in the North, as well, which bodes well for the bees…which is good news for us as well…I think you got this great shot because YOU are just sweet enough to entice that little hummer to pose for you! HA!
Those are amazing-I can’t believe you were able to get a picture of the bee in the shot. I’m not doing a whole lot this weekend.

somehow I missed this yesterday-yes, my sister and niece
I had my sister in law here for awhile. It was fun and we spent a leasurely hour in the pool before it rained. My brother, her husband died last March and her son is in the Navy, deployed to Honduras right now. So we had many thoughts and memories together.
I didn’t do anything last weekend.
Except surf the internet a lot. Wait, I like surfing the internet.

We visited Jeff’s Grandma, and his Mom was visiting her at the same time, so it was 4 generations worth of fun this weekend for us! Jeff’s other Grandma died a few weeks back, we missed her memorial service to go play with the living. Seemed a good choice.
