  • Cooper and I took a drive to Grass River Natural Area for a nature walk.

    Fiddle Fern and Ants

(Oh how I long for a macro lens. *sigh* )

Interesting things are starting to happen!

    cedars over the Finch River

The fish were jumping in the Finch Creek, but since Cooper and I were all alone in the woods and there were lots of strange noises going on, because of all of the interesting things happening, we didn’t stay around long to watch!

It was a good day. In a few weeks this area will be full of cat tails.   Swallows will dance over the water chasing each other and making whoopee.

I’m getting LOTS of spring cleaning done.

I have a SPECIAL VISITOR coming in a few weeks! I am SO EXCITED!

    Bet you couldn’t tell…

What interesting things are going on near you?

  • I love your pictures! I wish I had a macro lens too. and a camera to go with it!

I have kitties playing in the barn and a mockingbird nest outside my window. The hummingbirds are busy too, but I haven’t found a nest yet.

Things going around here are only making my blood boil, don’t think I am going to talk about them today if I can help it!

it’s a beautiful day here in north central Texas

I think you do have a marco lens-look at that first photo

  • Wow, you do so well with a regular lens, just think what miracles would happen with a macro! You could get the swallows making woopee really closeup.
It’s 75 degrees and a slight breeze. The birds are all gone to roost except the mocking bird that lives in a tree in the front yard. I hear crickets…but it could be my high blood pressure making my ears chirp…LOLA!!!! (laugh out loud – alot, I just learned that!).  Have a great night!

  • I am coming to your town!

Great pix,we are gonna have so much fun taking photos with our spiffy new Nikons!!

  • So you went and visited MY creek.  Hope you had fun.
