We live in a wonderful world that is full of beauty, charm and adventure. There is no end to the adventures we can have if we only seek them with our eyes open. ~ Jawaharlala Nehru
Even though it looks like this outside I know there is some adventure waiting for me.
Today it will come wrapped in the shape of a trip to the tree farm for a Christmas tree…
(I don’t wanna go.)
How’s it looking in your part of the world?
How adventurous are you being?!

It is raining outside of my front door. The temp is supposed to be 74* today, so I have shorts on. But it is supposed to get colder. Personally, I’d rather be playing in snow!!!
No need to go far to find adventure if the taste of adventure is in our mind .
Enjoy your trip to the tree farm and take care to the snow , Ang.
Love
Michel
It’s looking like rain here, about 2″ tonight they say! I’d rather have the snow!
very adenturous. last night we went out coon hunting in the woods (got skunked). The weather has turned from snow to rain here in northwest ohio. I’m heading to the creeks (that now have no ice on them due to the rain) in full rain gear to deploying 60 some muskrat traps. The creeks have been frozen for the last 2 weeks and have put a real damper on trapping.
So I really love every season. Somtimes it takes me a few weeks to adapt to the cold weather. I still love the feeling of waking up and looking out the window and seeing 3 inches of snow! When the snow comes I go ice fishing and rabbit hunting.
Here it is more of the same…. damp, dark and raining. Welcome to Denmark in December. I would LOVE some snow! LOL! It has not been an adventurous day at all. I have just been trying to get some decorations up, and sewing some Christmas gifts. Not exactly high excitement! I hope you found the right tree!
It looks very much the same down here in my part of Michigan. But you know what? I love seeing fog in the winter because that means the air is warmer than the ground. I love that what we’re having today is rain and not snow. I know we’ll get more snow, but for today, I’ll revel in the rain and the warmer temperature – all the way up to 40 degrees! Heat wave!
After an amazingly windy and COLD Sunday, today was almost balmy.
I love the picture. It just FEELS like winter. Great shot.
It’s quite warm here, all the snow is gone.
Angi, I just love your posts and am still crazy about your facial hair, as you know. I love your pictures and everything.
It’s going to rain here I think, that’s good,. it is a wonderful world full of adventure and charm.
Uncle Jim
@saintvi - I just paid thirty dollars for the neighbor to plow me out. *sigh* On a good note the kids are excited because he made them a HUGE snow fort.
One of my favorite things is to see the fog rising off the bay at this time of year! I’ll try to get you a picture.
I love when you can see snow in a photo like that! Excellent shot.
cool the march of the trees into the end of the woods- I think the photo just draws me into the woods like a Robert Frost poem-how can a young woman not want to go?
I like “end to the adventures we can have if we only seek them with our eyes open” — ahh the imagination … well our “snow” is nothing compared to yours … our blew and i mean blew – horizontal … roads weren’t too bad … will be tomorrow … thank god i work from home and don’t have to “go” to work … we’ll survive …
it’s looking crappy out. no pretty snowfall just yet. and i’m not being one bit adventurous. in fact, i’ve been a lazy bum since i got back from hawaii
It was raining all day – pouring mostly. Now it is freezing rain and son#2 has to go back to work. We just brought his car home from the shop and thankfully it has new wiper blades on. The old ones were useless.
It’s overcast, cold and windy here in San Diego….too cold for me! (I know, it sounds pathetic!)
I am not overly adventurous…I need to work on that.
Love the picture!
Later,
Gina
Color me jealous. I could use some snow. First ice over tonight, and I was positively giddy.
Its nice being a kid again, if only for a little while.
It was raining this morning when I got up and the temperature gauge in my car said it was 57 degrees!!! So warm!
our weather has been hot and sticky. Horribly so. I have a terrible cough. Thanfully today it is cool, and raining. And yet inside the offices, the mugginess from yesterday seems to linger.
I wish I could have made a trip to that farm. Never gone and chosen a tree like THAT before. Miss you Angi (((HUGS)))
i wish it was snowing
Beautiful picture. My world looks white and snow-covered…just like yours!!!
Mornin Glorie….Rainy and warm here too we have tornado warnings until 1:00….but as I keep hearing…WE NEED THE RAIN…It’s kinda scary…the lakes are at all time lows and Georgia Florida and Alabama are fighting over water rights…I am very unadventurous today….but I wish I could venture out with ya’ll to the christmas tree farm….we have artificial….it’s a beautiful tree but it doesn’t smell like Christmas….Stay warm….post pictures of the kids – I miss them!….ilym
I hope your trip at the tree fam has been good and not so much adventurous with that snow !
Love
Michel
wow it looks just like here, white and snowy outside
beautiful picture!
i went out on an adventure on the weekend… we were searching for BIGFOOT!
we didnt find him though
Still looks like fall over here…
…and I’m not being adventurous at all. It’s hibernatin’ season for me!
It’s cold and rainy here… I’m wishing for snow.
Great picture Angi. I like minimalist photos. The composition on this is very pleasing.
Your photos are always a delight, Angi.
