Another video sent to my by my FIL… I don’t know how he finds them, but they are entertaining and since I am having a blogging dry spell… I thought I would share it.
Would you go to see the Ukulele orchestra?
I would, in a heart beat… but I guess you could have guessed that. I drive two hours to take pictures of giant heads.
What concert or performance have you always wanted to see?

That was really, really cool! I have always wanted to hear Andrea Bocelli sing in person. I guess it would all be in Italian, but it would still be dreamy! LOL!
I’ll go with ya to see em, but you’ll have to promise to hold a gun to my head, OK?
I have always wanted to see Led Zepplin. We saw Robert Plant in Michigan. He did many zepplin songs.
I also have always wanted to see Alan Jackson. He is my favorite cournty artist
Would you believe not one! :-=) Most different youtube!
they are amazingly talented. (believe it or not I used to play the ukulele as a child) I would certainly go see them. I can’t think of anyone I would want to see that I have already not seen. Well, maybe the Eagles.
ROFLMAO- that was too funny!
I suppose if you are an Ukalele orchestra you really can’t take yourself too seriously- but OMG that was the coolest thing I’ve ever seen musically speaking! I would go see them in concert in a heartbeat.
There are far too many folks I’d love to see in concert, I just never think to go to a concert and I’ve missed some doozies because of it. I am just not one for big crowds usually, but then when I get there I’ve always enjoyed myself so I don’t know what stops me. I would love to see Sting again, he’s very entertaining. And if he was still alive I’d have loved to have seen Ray Charles. I’m hoping to get to see Van Morrison before its too late. Thankfully I’ve seen BB King- and hope to see him again really soon. He’s coming to the area in February… so fingers crossed I can afford tickets then! Okay, enough rambling!
Ha ha!! Love it! Nice break from writing for me.
What performance would I want to see? Oh, I’d like to hang out in Keith Jarrett‘s living room listening to him practice. I’d never leave. Not even to pee!
my son plays the ukulele so yes i would.
Sure looks like a fun concert…I’d go.
I really liked it when they all started singing at the same time…

That was awesome—thanks for sharing! I’ve been to most of the concerts I’ve wanted to see…the next one I’d like to go to is Toby Mac.
that was disturbingly entertaining, lol. i liked it. i would’ve gone to see that, but not any ol ukulele show
i’d like to have seen the beatles, but i’m not sure i could’ve dealt with all the screaming girls. my ears may have exploded. i’d like to have seen KISS and the stones as well. and the rat pack or just sinatra
I love to watch broadway musicals.
That was pretty awesome Angi! Missing you lots! Have an amazing weekend! (((HUGS)))
Mental and Audio multi ~^~ tasking, I love it !!
That 40 something guy is coool with that pony ~^~ tail
I watched the video, which I usually don’t when people post them, and it was entertaining. Though, I think it goes to show that pop music is pretty much all the same. It actually reminded me of the stand up comic who does a whole rift on Pacobel’s Canon and puts a bunch of pop songs to that chord progression. And this is why I don’t listen to popular music.
I’d love to go to a symphany concert, especially if they were playing Peter and the Wolf, but anything symphonic would be great. I hate crowds, though, so I’d probably never go!
@craftea - I LOVE Peter and the Wolf!
I’ll give you my top three concerts. (That I have not seen)
In no particular order…
Norah Jones – I would see her anywhere, but it would be so cool to see her in an intimate setting.
Diana Krall – Same as Norah, but I would kill to see her in a nice smoky jazz club.
Radiohead – Love me some radiohead.
My parents had a reel-to-reel player with one song– Peter and the Wolf. I loved playing with the reel-to-reel so I listened to it a lot as I was growing up, and still love it (sans reel-to-reel). I took my kids to a very small symphony concert where they played that along with several other children’s classics. Watching it being played and (somewhat) acted out (the performers would put on a costumed hat before they played their instrument’s part) was really special. My kids love classical music, especially after listening to a CD called “Beethoven’s Wig” (and its sequel). They play the classical music, but sing goofy lyrics with it. It’s a riot.
How cool.
I would have to say AFI (A Fire Inside) is my dream concert and I can’t wait for them to tour again, praying that they come back to my country.
Have an awesome weekend.
Nice! I’ve wanted to see Kenny Chesney in concert for a very long time, but lately, that hasn’t seemed so interesting to me. (I go through phases, as do we all!)
Did you know you won over at Saadia’s?
I’d love to see the Blue Man Group, but tickets are just way out of my price range…
I would like to have seen Warren Zevon before he died. I’d like to see Dan Hicks & the Hot Licks again and Randy Newman and Natalie Merchant and Cheryl Crow and Christine Lavin. Oh, and I’d like to see the uke orchestra live; what a hoot!
