Some of what I saw…
EDIT
Nattata finally has her DOORS UP!
She was on Vacation on the final day.
****************************************************************
This morning I came home from work and saw a beautiful web in one of our trees.
I insisted that my poor hubby come out and look at it, with it’s sparkling morning dew and perfect spirals.
As we stood there he pointed out at least ten more webs in the same tree!
I tried to get a picture of all of them, but no matter what angle I went to, the light wouldn’t cooperate.
The reason the greens look different, are because they are the leaves from different trees in our yard.
The ones that had nothing but sky behind them wouldn’t show up this morning because it was wet and foggy out.
Oh how I longed for a nice Macro lens!
Now that I have a job though, my dreams of a new camera may not be that far off!
I didn’t see any spiders, I imagine they were all taking refuge under the leaves to avoid the slight drizzle.
Tell me what you saw today!
DO IT NOW!
I’m demanding and you know you like it.

You got yourself some fantastic web shots Ang! The first one is marvelous!
Perfect for getting in the Halloween spirit! Great shots. Today, I saw lots of colorful feet (rain boots and kid crocs) splashing in puddles under a gloomy sky. But, alas…I had no camera with me!
I saw a Roman charioteer, an elephant, a zebra, and a menagerie. And to think that I saw it on Mulberry Street
Oh I love that! When i get beyond certain spider prejudices and see webs I think they just so intricate, line-lacey, delicate and lovely.
I saw someone respond wih grace and love.
Those are great photos.
Today, I saw two of the most gorgeous faces God ever created.
Very beautiful!
I haven’t seen anything especially pretty today. I did go check out the latest branch library in our library system to open up. It’s nice but not really photo-worthy.
Gorgeous!!!!
beautiful pix! i came here via a rec from papillon mom.
today i saw a barge cutting through the sunlight bouncing off the mississippi river.
Love your pictures!
Outside a brownstone in Harlem, I saw flowers struggling to stay alive in the chilling NY morning.
i have the check the awning in front of my door every morning in case there’s a web there. i hate it when i walk into one face first. they’re everywhere around my house
just the usual stuff all day-I worked at the thriftstore for 2 hours and I saw a couple getting in the dumpster. One day there were legs hanging out and they were moving so we weren’t too worried.
love the pics great job
I don’t like spiders but I love their webs. They’re so gorgeous and amazing.
I saw rain and a lot of wind today. It’s very gray here.
I saw birds in the trees. They liked to go get potato chips off the people who had left their trash on the table. (It was ok to do that, and expected) I wish I had my camera for it, it was cute!
Good heavens, you have your very own Halloween decorations made naturally.
I saw white …my head was in the clouds today. Maybe tomorrow I will be more observant. The light at the end of the week.
Those are nice.
@LifeNeedsProtection - I hope they were happy clouds? The Halloween thing is exactly what I was thinking! lol
I hate spiders but your pictures are beautiful!
I saw lots of expensive dogs (up to 20000 €) today because there is a dog competition in my town.
Those webs are wonderful……great shots! I tried to take some the other day – but my battery was flat and so my camera was misbehaving!
Nice webs, bad spiders!
I saw the vacum cleaner in a variety of places around the house…looking for those pesky spider webs.
We saw a squirrel with a nut in its mouth climbing around an old tree. He may be there tomorrow and I am taking my camera. I saw worms when we planted mums.
Way cool. I don’t like spiders (except Charlotte of course) but am fascinated by their handiwork!
I saw a beautiful Fall day, cool yet balmy and sunny. I think you did a great job with the web despite the challenge.
Angi I think you got some great shots!
I saw the kitchen and the grocery store and then some rain outside!
Weird snow boot kid… I knew a few of those… Oh right what did I saw today…. ummm I sawed a piece of insulation board in half… actually I sawed about a dozen of them. That was pretty much it. I had 34 men on the crew today so there wasn’t much time for me to be sawing… I had to spend most of my time making them pretend to keep working.
I love the spider web shots, Ang!…
Trail of Ink
I would leave a trail of ink
Across the pages of your heart,
As a spider spins a web
In hopes of capturing its prey.
I would speak to you in whispers;
In ambiguous metaphor,
As I weave a web of wonder –
Wondering what these words were for…
I would leave a trail of ink
Across the textures of your mind –
Indelibly, a mark
Of the words I’ve left behind.
I would speak to you in riddles
To confound the curious
As I weave a web of wonder –
With understanding none-the-less…
I would leave a trail of ink
Lucidly across your soul –
Transpicuously opaque
Images to soothe your soul.
I would speak to you of beauty –
As morning dew upon the rose
As I weave a web of wonder
In the words which I compose.
I would leave a trail of ink
That lay across the great divide –
Of a soul impervious
In hopes to rectify…
I would speak to you in kindness
To entice a listening ear,
As I weave a web of wonder
In the hopes that you’ll draw near.

I hate spiders, but I have to admit those photos are beautiful!
I saw hundreds of little yellow leaves on our driveway and the stray cat stretching, long and luxurious stretches, in the middle of them.
I can never get web shots-I just can’t get them…gotta be the stoopid camera, right?
I didn’t see anything interesting, but my pillow. I’m feeling a little better, but still not up to par. Soon tho…
Oh, spider webs!!
Err… it’s early morning here as I read this, so about all I have seen
today is the bathroom, the sink and my coffee. I love your photos of
spider webs. I have noticed some on the garbage house here, but I think
I would have to go out with a spray bottle of water to get them “dewy”
looking! LOL! You inspire me! I hope you get that macro lens soon!
Tell hubby it is a priority for your fans.
Nice……
I think the light worked just fine for you! I tried to take a photo of a web the other day, it didn’t come out at all.
I didn’t see much of anything yesterday.
Good work Angi! I saw due on the car, my outside cats huddling to keep warm. The school bus and kids waiting in the cold for the bus. Stupid x son-in-law wearing shorts and a t-shirt and his daughter with a heavy coat on! LOL!
your pics are wonderful. They look like delicate crochet. Those spiders are talented artists/crafters.
i have a spider that lives in my barber shop….it keeps the bugs away!!
Even though the light would not co-operate, you got some awesome pics.
I saw a fierce, gale force wind that came up out of nowhere at around 2pm, and proceeded to do some damage at work! It’s still blowing, although not quite as fierce. But when I opened my front door, I saw a ton of sand on the tiles inside my lounge…..all the building sand from the new wall they’ve just put up!
Praying you get your new camera soon! (((HUGS)))
let’s see… since hubby stayed home from work today, the first thing I sensed was a poke in the back, and then the white wall in front of me… then the alarm clock… 5 o”WHAT??!!! then the pillow as I bonked him over the head!!!
Lovely Angi.
My son has broken my camera. I am in mourning.

Looks like a world wide web to me. They are all great but #1 is super.
I love your pictures, I saw a squirrel in my back yard this morning. It was messing around on the fence and then jumped into the bird bath to get a drink. We also have a pair of woodpeckers and they were eating some suet cake thing I have hanging out back. Very cool.
