  • You better keep your eyes peeled!lol

  • LOL ~ I just knew this would have something to do with frogs….excellent pic.

  • Not genital warts I hope.I had a friend who got them and it was nasty!.

I love your wildlife pix! How did the fish rodeo go?Did the pig roast turn out good?

I had seven kids here yesterday(Two by mistake,I thought the mom asked if she could drop by and I gave an entheusastic yes, here she said “Can I drop the kids off,I have to go to work” They were good though.I made Dave go get Chick-fil-A for supper though.

Tonight I am taking the twins to the state to see Kung Fu Panda at the State Theater,I wanted to go for Thai but Dave is tired so I just thought I would go to the stupid movie with the kids instead.

  • I must say I had no idea what the photo was going to be about….. great shot.

  • Ribbit! That’s very cute. :D

  • Just don’t kiss it.

  • I think you would need an awful lot of those to get a meal of legs…

  • @dingdongdingbat - He was about the size of a quarter… so I’m not even sure you could pick your teeth with those legs! lol

The kids found three of them under a rock…  That’s one of the good things about being a kid, no one really minds when you flip their rocks over. lol

  • have you ever read the “Frog and Toad” series of children’s books? I bet you would love them….GREAT photo, too, btw. We had a horrendous storm the other night that broke as my ex-husband and I were having dinner on the veranda of a restaurant (yikes) we escaped indoors for the remainder of our meal, but the trip home was a challenge – even getting to the car in ankle deep water…but as we left the restaurant, there on the stairs waiting out the storm was the biggest toad I think I have ever seen…must be this little guys great Uncle Hubert . . .s, laughing…

  • It’s so tiny and cute.  But has someone been biting their fingernails?

  • He’s a beautiful little guy!  We are quite a pro frog type of family – but they’re not as nice as lizards!

  • we have tons of those around our place… thankfully they’re eating the spiders I can’t kill- I hope!

  • I wonder if frog legs are any good?

    Neat picture!

  • I think it’s toads not frogs.

  • if they do get warts for real the cure is tagamet OTC

  • Cute pic!  I have never touched a frog before…

    Later,

    Gina

  • @jillcarmel - That is a toad.

@tea7tree - My daughter bites her nails! I don’t know how to help her stop.  I think its funny that the other day she held them up and said look mom I haven’t bitten my nails all week… and they still looked like that. lol I think part of why I like the shot is her poor little beat up hands. lol

  • I say go ahead and kiss – there just aren’t enough Princes to go around!

  • frog- I’m telling you guys, if this chick kisses me one more time I am going pee all over her hand.

I’m learnig more and more about seedsower and her crew everyday, maybe too much in some cases

  • @angi1972 - I used to bite my nails until I was about 11 or so…my mum would also do everything to stop me…but at around the age of 11 I slowly started to grow out of it.  I wanted to be able to have some nails to put nail varnish on and make them look ‘pretty’…it took a long time for my nails to start looking ‘normal’.

Maybe she too will just grow out of it…but on another note…kids and nail biting can lead to a lot of unwanted things…like threadworms…which are actually very common in kids…as the eggs can be found under the nails and on hands of kids…they pick them up while playing as you know.

    :)

  • @tea7tree - Ewww! If I tell her that maybe it’ll help her stop! lol

  • We saw zillions of little frogs and a wide assortment of them today, there was probably more yesterday then today judging the number of coon tracks we also saw.

I couldn’t catch one thou, not as quick or nimble as a kid.  Don’t you just love them (the kids I mean not the frogs)

  • bleargh!

  • I’m scared of frogs/toads but that’s cute!

  • that is? must be a baby toad? is that what your turtle eats?

  • ryc:  Jeeves and Wooster is definitely Brit humor and the main idea of each episode is that Wooster gets into these situations and his valet Jeeves gets him out of them smelling like a rose.  To be honest, there were sometimes I didn’t understand what they were saying.  I would say that it is fun and we watched the first three episodes and want to watch more, but I could see how it might be an acquired taste.  Give ‘em a try!

  • Ewwwwww!!!!  Frogs are gross!!!

  • @WinsomeONE - I KNOW HOW YOU FEEL! LOL! I don’t think I’d EVER hold a frog/ toad in my hand. Ever.

  • Can I kiss him? He may be a prince.

  • Cool photo though.

  • Love frogs. I am still wearing the gift a frog gave me as a child  a wart on my right hand God Bless

  • @siennachartreuse - I will wait patiently by with the GermX and a bottle of water whle you try! =D

  • don’t squeeze him! he might pee on you… if he hasn’t already… hehehe
