I think that Beth was feeling sorry for me and let me get more of the DOOR shots when we were in NYC.
I had to get a revolving door…
Now I wish I had put a little more time into it, ahhh well.
St. Patrick’s Cathedral doors
Craftea put up a DOOR post while I was galavanting.
and I somehow missed THIS door too.
If you put up a door, or a door post that you took for the perfect picture search,
send me a message and I will link it!
Happy door hunting!
DIgital Detours has more DOORS up too.

The first photo made me laugh! The second one astounded me!
those are great doors ang!!!!
@Lobos_Photos - Thanks Lobos! Did you see my pics of NYC? They are three posts back… I think you’ll like the pigeon. lol
hey, you know why they have a revolving door?
@gurkhason - Uh oh I sense a bad joke coming on… Why? Why do they have a revolving door? lol
@angi1972 - Revolving doors are energy efficient by eliminating drafts, thus reducing the heating or cooling required for the building. They are also a mark of prestige and glamour for a building.
p.s. i didn’t come up with these. they are ripped off wikipedia. just so happened that i read about it some time back, so i thought it is worth sharing.
@gurkhason - Very worth sharing. lol We don’t have revolving doors in TC… I am lamenting the fact that I didn’[t take a little more time appreciating them with my camera… I can envision some very interesting shots now…Of course there was SO much to take pictures of.
just droppin by to say hi!
I’d be stuck at Saint Patrick’s trying to figure out which door to use
RYC Well, I think it’s amazing that while in NYC, you thought of me! Thank you and yes, I would hate it!
@angi1972 - sorry, where is TC? I’m from Singapore. We have revolving doors in Singapore but I think only limited to very very few places. at the moment, i cannot even recall where. NYC has got so much history, therefore plenty of pictures to take. I love your Chrysler building shots. Very well done. I am planning to visit in Oct, so tell me your itenary. Haha.
You look mah-va-lous!
I haven’t stopped by to say hi in quite a while. It looks like you’re having a GREAT time traveling out East

(My friend is back with the door pics from Italy and Rome for you but she hasn’t had time to get em’ to me yet)
You look fabulous dahling, just fabulous!
I’m enjoying all of the Doors. I was traveling with you vicariously through your NYC pics. Last time I was in NYC was during the Leona Helmsly reign. One taxi ride had us fearing for our lives when the driver got out and threatened another driver with a baseball bat. Aah, the memories of NYC.
Oh My! Now I have to go out and find some sparklers to write with – I learned to spell my name with a sparkler I think
That Cathedral door photos is to die for. I love it.
Me thinks the red swimsuit is very becoming.
