My count down has begun! Only eighteen days left until I begin my journey!
What journey? (You ask, intensely interested.)
My road trip to see SEEDSOWER! We will be taking a side trip to New York too.
Why New York? (You ask, with intense interest.)
To visit the Xanga team of course… and to do what else? Well we don’t know yet. I am sure we will find something, suggestions are being taken.
I don’t know if I am more excited to visit the Amish community and barns and land around Beth’s greenhouse, or to wander the BIG city. Isn’t it wonderful that we get to do it ALL!

Hey! How cool that you will get to meet the lovely Seedsower in person! I hear there’s a whole pack of fools in Rochester, NY! Maybe you can swing by there. Our big plans for summer are that we are going to Norway with friends. I haven’t been, and I hear it is beautiful! We will be staying in a lovely summer house on an island. We are also going to Ireland in November. Pretty cool, huh?

I expect lots of pictures from both of you! Try to get the xanga team to do something exceptionally silly for a picture. I already did my big exciting thing for the summer. Now I have to find a job.

Wow! sounds so exciting, esp the NY part.
My Mom and the rest of the my family live in NY and I wish that we could get there this year but high gas prices will probably keep us home.

I am hoping to have a better camera to take by then. We have an old dinosaur which hardly holds a charge, and has no zoom!

Big plans…hmmm…my Mom is coming for my granddaughter’s birthday at the end of June and I am driving her back to Delaware to visit my sister . . .oh! AND I’m going to Montreal for the 4th of July – BIG fireworks viewed from my friend’s 18th foor balcony !!!!! AND I get to take my granddaughter on a road trip to my best friend’s house (Connectucut) in August. YEAH!

No big plans, just some time off in July. Planning to visit our city a little bit over the summer and see some things in our own backyard that we just alwasy seems to overlook!

Cool!! It amazes me when xanga people meet in real life. Have a great trip. And take lots of extra money for the Amish country, sometimes it is amazing what you’ll come across.
First… Fourth of July I should be visiting my friend in Louisville (the one who just had the baby) THEN for my birthday I’m going to Colorado to visit my brother and mom and the rest of my family who live out there!!! THEN my boyz will come home, and we’ll have a few weeks until school starts!
you have to go see the space that was the twin towers and Shaltz? toy store and everything! my son and wife have gone 2 years in a row now but will go to Cancun this june

Ask the Xanga team to let us be able to the IP address at the same time it blocks a username. That would be so cool (for a lot of us who are troubled by nosy people).

How wonderful!!! I would be more thrilled about seeing seedsowers and all around her place!!! But I lived in a city before and I am much more of a country gal!!! You will have a wonderful time wherever you go together!!! I know you both will have LOTS of pictures to share and I cannot wait to see these!!!

Big? Funny you should mention big this being the day that Trusty is meeting with her plastic surgeon.
We really don’t have anything big planned, actually nothing planned at all. Got a few ideas of things to do, more like little benchmarks of recovery then plans, I am more then a little behind on my planning this year.
You Lucky Dawgs…..just stock up on salsa before you get to NYC…hahahaha……are the Hubbies and kids going or is it a girl trip? I have two nieces getting married in October so I’m going to have to get all my excitement at home this summer…..that’s not a bad thing either…..

I’m so happy for you. We love our Beth and she lives in a wonderful area. I’m not sure where you live or what direction you will be traveling in but if you go by the Rochester area off of I 90, give us a holler..

I feel so darn special! You have 45 comments and you’re tracking me down to ask me why I’m not posting? And for the record, I did see The World’s Fastest Indian a couple years ago and loved it. (I think I did comment that to you, but maybe you missed it in all your popularity.

Um, New York is a pretty big state – where exactly are you going? The City? Cuz you know *I* am in NY, too…
Think this summer the kids are coming to visit us. They can spend the gas money this time. Some will be here around the fourth of July, another in late June or later August, and another in August sometime. Still need dates but they have to put in for their vacations yet. I might get to New England to see my Mother, but usually save that travel expense till she needs my assistance for something. Maybe I can convince her to come here too. Otherwise think our summer plans are on the golf course, evening picnics on the boat in one of the coves on the lake, and maybe two or three of the local state parks with the motor home. Saving up for big plans next summer.

Exciting during the summer………….no. Work and class, and MAYBE an occassional camping trip or going fishing, that’s about it. Enjoy your trip, take lots of pics, and do everything that you want!
