MAIL ART and other things…
On Friday I got a fun surprise in the mail!
A piece of mail art from Bianchistreet!
It is a pin there is a flower embossed in the paper.
I am scared to take the tape off because I don’t want to rip the pin… so I am going to enjoy it this way for while and someday I will take it apart and wear it.
THANK YOU SANDRA!
We are taking care of George for my parents this week.
Today Cooper and I took him for a walk in the woods.
Before we went down the trail Cooper told George the rules.
Stay on the trail.
Come back when Mom says.
Don’t Poop on the trail. (THIS is what he is saying in the picture.)
Don’t pee where people can see you.
Cooper didn’t notice that George didn’t pay attention to that last rule.
I let them both off the leash and away we went.
It was a good day.
This is George bug watching… I know it isn’t a great shot… I just thought it was cute.
He looks like a puppy instead of the old man that he is.
I’ll need to give him a couple of baby aspirin in the morning.
He was walking very gingerly by the time we got home.
I might have to take some myself.

Awwww, get well soon Angi! George looks cute, indeed. And what a great gift from a friend. I love getting stuff like that in the mail!
Awww thats so sweet. I love pups, no matter how old they are.
You’re a great mom Angi, giving your children so many wonderful memories!!
Awesome mail art thingy! And George is adorable….
Hope you and George feel better. I used to have to give our German Shepard Sarge baby asprin when he wasn’t feeling well. Sometimes, Harley Girl needs it.
That pic of George and Cooper was too cute. I had to LOL when I read Cooper’s ‘Talk” to George… If George is anything like Emily, I am sure he was only pretending to listen!!!
Big Hugs! Tracy
How excited were you to get some mail art?
George is almost as cute as Coop!
@seedsower - I am still planning on getting yours to you before I get there! lol
Love the post. Hope you get well soon.
Hey!… That reminds me… Where is my mail art?
That is a great shot of George and Cooper. Your explanation made it even better.

Yeah! Mail art. I bet that tape will come right off – give it a try and if it rips, I’ll send you another.
George looks just like my grand dog, Cleo! And I love seeing pics of Cooper. Yeah!
(life is good) Sandra
Great picture of the maill art. What a lovely gift to get in the mail. I love the picture of Cooper telling George with a pointed finger what he can or cannot do. Priceless.
I have two dogs that would love to play with George
Sounds like a wonderful day. Of course Cooper is adorable but I have to say that George is totally gorgeous. A real dog’s dog.
Neato mail art.
My old dog is dead…but when he was alive and old the vet said to give him baby asprin. He was allergic and had seizures when we did. So we just petted and loved him and he was satisfied.
George is so cute in that pic.
How cute!
George is beautiful and I hope is all right….you shouldnt take old men on such long walks – I learnt that with my ex – LOL!
Angi, I LOVE your mail art – gorgeous!
Have a good day!

George would like the beach here in the morning. So would Cooper ..so would you.

Hey! Do I have your address? Can I send you mail art? Do you send mail art in return? Do you regift mail art you receive? Do polar bears eat penguins? How many pieces of mail art have you received? I sent lots of paintings to xanga people… Did I ever send you one? If I did… did you like it? If I didn’t, why haven’t I? Did you know I like to share my art with my friends? Did you know I like to make people feel important? Did you know that when I make people feel good, it makes me feel good? Did you know that I have a hard time selling my paintings because of this mental problem I have of wanting to make people happy without taking their money? Do you think you will answer all my questions? Did you know I fixed the picture on my site so you can see it now? Did youi realize my wife is making me sketti and sauce for dinner? Did you know that I can smell garlic being simmered in olive oil? I have to go eat something now. Do you like to eat stuff? Did you ever eat garlic fried in olive oil spread over toated Italian bread?
@Aloysius_son - OKAY! I did this once and then lost it… and now I have a few less hairs on my head… so here I go AGAIN.
You would fit right in here with my 9,8, and 3 year old…
Yes. Yes. Yes. NO, never. I keep it all for myself. Yes I am pretty sure unless they are in a zoo or penguins are in short supply. I did see a polor bear eat a duck once at the zoo. That was a really DUMB duck. Oh If it is a Sandra Boyton polor bear it does not.

More then ten but less then twenty, most of them are in my mail art album… there are a few that aren’t, I should add them. No. I am sure if you did I would LOVE it. I am guessing you like to tantalise and tease me with your cool three hump camels… I did know that! I saw the GREAT picture you sent to your long, lost (ahem sold) sister Beth. I could have guessed because you seem like a pretty great guy. Yes, because well, doesn’t it do that for everyone? That and your pretty good at making me feel good and making me smile, I would hate to think that made you feel AWFUL! I could have guessed on that too. I have much the same problem with my glass and photographs. I am trying, I hope I don’t miss any. I didn’t, but I will rush off to see you ICKY boo boo as soon as I am done here. Your wife is pretty SPECTACULAR so I have no doubt that she feeds you well. I can smell it too! Oh wait that’s my sketti cooking! I LOve to eat stuff, sometimes too much, I get over full. I haven’t but it sounds super yummy! Give me some!
*whew*
I like George! The bug watching is pretty funny.
Sweet pictures. Is George a German Shorthair?
We used to have them as hunting dogs a long time ago.
@angi1972 - all-righty then.
What great mail art!!! How wonderful of her to include your favorite sculptor in that package!!!
I love that picture of George and Cooper! Precious of both of them!!!
@dingdongdingbat - Yes! He is. He and my pop go pheasant hunting. He can’t do long days like he used to… but he LOVEs being out. He was looking a little frumpy in that first shot because he hates being on a leash. He really doesn’t need one because he listens so well, but I leave him on until I am sure there isn’t anyone around that’s scared of dogs.
@angi1972 - no hurry… I was just ribbing you!
dan
Oh my goodness! George is SO cute!! I just love doggies!!
Can’t help but notice your rule is not that you can’t pee on the trail, but that it must be where no one can see. My rule is that no one can see AND you check for poison ivy/oak first.
@rubymay1029 - HA! lol Well of course… it’s hard getting the boys to keep it in their pants! They want to wipe those things out and pee on everything. :-s
Poinson oak poison ivy is a good point!
