We meandered home today.
First we made our way to Lansing.
Stopping to take pictures along the way whenever I felt like it. We went to the glass shop.
We were early for our lunch date with finfam2.
So we did our own little tour of the capital building.
The problem with doing your own tour is you don’t always know what your looking at or WHY your looking at it.
We went to the first floor and saw the glass floor and laid down in the middle of it.
Just like the man at the desk told us to do…
Yes… I laid down on the floor… You won’t see a picture of me doing that however.
This is what we saw… very pretty… not a great shot.
I was in a hurry to get off of the floor…
Then we went to the to the third floor to see … I’m not sure what…
It was ALL beautiful.
I saw them lying on the floor looking up…
i wonder if they know what they were looking at?
Cooper and I are both a little scared of heights.
Major vertigo with all of the lines and patterns so we didn’t stay long.
We went and convinced my Aunt that the world would survive long enough for her to have lunch with us…
We ate and then let her get back to it…
She is VERY dedicated to saving the world.
I know because she didn’t feel well today and she was still at it.
After we returned her to her “castle” as cooper called it.
We drove home…
We were almost to our front door when we saw a horse walking down the road…
Well at first I thought it was a BIG dog… Then I realized it was a little, itty bitty horse.
I pulled over and chatted him out of the middle of the road where he was walking…
It was so funny, I talked to him like a dog and he came like a dog.
I had a rope in the trunk and another car stopped and the guy happened to know how to tie it into a halter…
So we found a miniature horse!
We didn’t get to keep him…
The guys that stopped found a neighbor who knew where he belonged and soon enough he was home safe and sound.
His name is Sergeant and he was very naughty.
We now have an invitation to visit whenever we want.
He has a nice pasture and little barn with chicken and rabbit friends and yet he was determinedly heading down the road…
I wonder where he was going.
Now I want a pony!
Have you ever wanted a pony?
