  • A Conversation

Sitting at the breakfast table watching my two oldest monsters getting ready for school my three year old, Cooper, will often climb into my lap and lay his head against my chest to observe the hustle and bustle.

This morning he leaned back, looked at me  and said  “You got nice boobies Mommy.”

To which I replied “Well thank you.”

“I don’t have boobies.” he said with a smile, “I like boobies.”

I am not sure if I should be concerned or grateful.

  • Both, of course!! You’re up awfully early for someone who needed sleep so bad!!!

  • Cooper will be just fine.

  • @buddly47 - Someone has to ship the monsters off to school! Now I am climbing back in to bed and catching maybe another 40 minutes while the C man watched cartoons… it’ hard to sleep when your listening to Spnge Bob Sqquare Pants…  but today I am going to try. lol

  • Oh gosh, that’s funny!  Gotta love the things kids say.

  • Awwww, I remember my son saying the same thing at one point in time.  Such sweet things out of the mouth of babes.  Ethan still likes boobies, but apparently he is more of a butt man.  And he isn’t ashamed to say it.  Get some rest dear

  • Kids say the darndest things…

  • LOL-I remember a little boy at church in the nursery that climbed up in my lap, shoved his thumb in his mouth and used the other hand to pat my boobs. his dad about died and when he tried to get him off he looked up and said, “no, she’s soft!”  ah kids…

I hope you were able to get more sleep

  • Kids do come out with some sweet things,  which sometime can be embrassing at times.

  • Oh dear!  Just gives me a lovely impression of what I can expect to start happening over the coming months, as Kaitlyn develops her vocabulary.  Still, it is nice to be able to have the whole family round the breakfast table together, however much chaos ensues as a result.  It is something too many folk miss out on, including my family as I am at work by 6am three days a week.  Fortunately not tomorrow though!!

  • You have just provided me with my first laugh of the day!  Peace

  • Awww, he’s so cute! He doesn’t realize yet what he has just said, lol.

  • Sweet!

  • Aww,that is sweet.
Atleast you weren’t in church when that revelation came to him!

  • ROFLMAO!  That is too funny! and something you can remind him of when he gets older and its embarassing! LOL

  • Be grateful that we mommies have soft pillows for children to rest on…and that we are multi-tasking as always!

  • He’s adorable and your story reminds me of when my brother brought home a new girlfriend.  My oldest son, Noah, was around the same age as Cooper at the time and he went right up to her with his hands outstretched wanting to touch and/or squeeze her breasts.  I remember asking, “Noah, what are you doing?”  And he just smiled and said, “They just look so soft.”  That sweet girl is now my brother’s wife and we still laugh about it.  Sounds like Cooper and Noah would be fast friends!

RYC: It’s pronounced Sah-dee-ahh.  :)   Have a great day, Darling Ang.

  • Yup, he’s a boy. Some things don’t change… they all like nice boobies.

  • LOL! You just never know what they’ll say next.

  • I think all kids think their mom has big ones, even mine do [stick figure me]  My 3 year-old is still fascinated by them. when younger she’d grab them, like a possessive gesture “Mine“.

  •  soft and a comfort like a security blanket but I worded it ,”you have alot of fat like a pillow ,mom.”

we taught my little niece to call her nipples “buttons”

  • I’d be grateful, but I would keep a sharp eye on that kid! LOL!

  • LOL _ kids are so funny.  When my oldest was a really little guy - just barely big enough to sit up  in the highchair at a restaurant – he would pat waitresses behinds as they walked by.

  • Haha.  That is one good boy you have there.  Now that I know you have great boobs. . .

  • HAHAHA He’s hilarious. And you’re cute

  • Haha, that’s hilarious!

  • He stole my pickup line!

  • LOL…

  • LOL… we havn’t learned that word yet here @ our house… buy Lolo is very much the same way…

  • That’s priceless…I love it.

  • hehehehe . . . it is good to recognise a natural source of comfort ((smiles)) early in life. My granddaughter simply assumes that every female she knows has breasts for her pleasure, alone. The only rule – which she sees fit to ignore – is NO PINCHING!

    Sandra, laughing, and slightly bruised!

  • hahaha….boobies!…i guess they are kinda amazing things.

  • WOOHOOO!!!! What an awesome kid! He’s all man and there’s nothing wrong with that.

  • Another titty man is born!  Don’t worry he’s in great company, only about a billion other guys in that club!

  • Awwwww… that is so sweet!

And funny as hell too! LOL

  • lmao!  Kids say the darndest things.  lol

  • What a little playa!

  • Awww…comfy boobies!!  Who needs a pillow when mommy has a great rack on her!!

  • I think that Al_son must have thought the same thing at the same age… that he liked “boobies”. that is. (I can’t wait to see the comment hs is bound to leave).

    Cute story! : )

  • You should be concerned.

Soon enough, he’ll let his infatuation with your boobs grow with him as he gets older and it’ll turn into something SCARY AND HORRIFIC.

  • @seedsower - No… that seems to be the nose picking revelations that hit him there! lol

  • Reminds me of something I once said to my mother:  “Mommy, your boobies make good pillows.”

  • gratefully concerned is what I think…..sometimes I think  kids say things just to see what our reaction will be…. yours was GREAT….ilym

    how are those chickadees?

  • That young man will have the whole world watching him grow up!  It’s take a village and for Cooper that is just the ones that are responsible for him!  LOL Love you Ang

  • @angi1972 - How well I know that pain…Alex puts me thru the same torture.  lol

  • Too funny.  I’m sure it all innocent.

  • Did you nurse your babies> If you did maybe he was just remembering that comfort.

  • glad i ain’t a parent. yet. i wouldn’t have the answers. then again i don’t have boobies either…

  • Last summer I’d picked up my 3 year old and he peered down my tank top. I asked, “What are YOU looking at?”

He grinned and said, “Where the big things are.”

  • LOL….now thats a funny moment…
