fun, but too far
That must be a newer shop, never saw it before, but then haven’t lived in VT for several years, and didn’t have the oportunity to do much browsing around that part of the city. A nice little city, not too big, not too small, a college city and on the lake. Yes definately visit if you ever get the chance, but winter might not be the best time, chuckle, unless you like sledding and skating.
That’s completely on the other side of the US for me. Oh well!
RYC: No Kidding….time in the ER would have been NO FUN with a three year old.
Nowhere close…LOL, guess that leaves me out :O)
Happy HUMP DAY!
I would love to visit Vermont some day, I have never been there. I would LOVE to see this artists studio and see her art as well. Its all so amazing!
That bowl would make a great ash-tray.
I was hoping b4 claire came that we would go to the zoo and farmers markets and stuff, but I have not gotten a chance, I would so go to that though!!!! I mean talk about an afternoon
Hey, Angi! What a suprise! Thanks for posting this! Burlington City Arts (BCA) Clay Studio is in downtown Burlington, Vermont, and about fifty miles from my personal studio which is in my home in beautiful downtown East Barre, Vermont – Ha!. BCA is where I get my pieces fired/glazed, and where I get to talk with other artists. They are hosting my exhibit. (life is good). By all means, if you ever get to Vermont, look me up!
Sandra
@tvtfln - Well, you certainly had to like snow to be here, this winter! At the risk of sounding like a travel brochure, I can’t think of a lovlier place on the planet than Vermont – or a safer, cleaner, more family (and college student) friendly city than Burlington. Sister city to Montreal (1 1/2 hours drive to the north) and home to several colleges, there is art, music, theater, wonderful restaurants, and delightful boutiques and coffee shops to rival any small city. . . a four block long street in the heart of the downtown district is open only to pedestrians – there are street artists, kiosks, al fresco dining along the entire street all summer. Jazzfest is in June and I can hardly wait. Free performances and dancing everywhere you go . . .truly you could not pay me to live anywhere else - the south of France, aside ((smiles))…
