EARTH DAY?
Is it today?
The kids brought home their tiny pine trees yesterday and we planted them in our ever growing pine forest in the backyard .
My Aunt Mary a.k.a. finfam2 got the kids each shirts as a treat to celebrate the day.
Those of you that know her, know she is on a mission to save the world.
So I thought to honor the day I would get a picture of the kids in their new shirts.
Me-Charlie come on! Make a nice face!
Charlie-Eww! She’s touching me!
Me-Stop that! Let your sister touch you!
Is-I’m being nice… see. I’m not doing anything!
Cooper-Hey aren’t I supposed to be in there?
Now I remember why I don’t take posed pictures!
When Aunt Mary gave them the shirts Isabelle thought it was SO funny that her’s says- Can I Recycle My Brother?
She was giggling until she saw his.
It says- Save The Earth Recycle My Sister.
Then she was mildly offended.
Now it is back to my dungeon studio I go.
Ben has agreed to take pictures!
Hope your weekend is shaping up great!

Happy Saturday!
aaahh, but pictures like these are so much more fun to llok back at then perfectly posed ones! Those shirt slogans sound absolutely brilliant!
Your kids are SO cute! I bet they had fun – so nice of your aunt to give them t-shirts to remember the day!

Saving the Earth is as important as Saving the Boobie. If there is no Earth, there is no boobie to save.
Great shirts!
Those are adorable.
Earth day, according to my Hello Kitty Calendar is infact the 22nd, this Tuesday.
It’s next week
Love the shirts and the kids pics! Back from Horse Creek, still needing help??
What a crew.
How in the world do you get anything done?
Regards,
Great pictures!
LOL……….can i recycle some jobs?

Alicia
Earth Day is April 22, but it doesn’t hurt to extend the celebration! Cute shirts….cuter kids!
RYC: Thanks for stopping by my site too!
For sake of internet paranoia lol I will just say that I live in Southeast MI,
somewhere near the U of M. And you?

Thank you! I wondered why I wasn’t hearing any fuss about it. But the kids were insistant that it was today.
@Abigailigator - Every year the kids each bring home a little pine tree from school… so there are eight(?) of them in the far corner of the back of our property now. (Shhh… I don’t really like pine trees, and was secretly hoping they wouldn’t survive.) They seem to be flurishing… Why can’t they send home aspen trees, or birch? lol
Isabelle says Thank you!
@buddly47 - Hope you had a great time! I think I’m good… thank you!
Those shirts are a riot!!! And the pictures are perfect, that is the way brothers and sisters are expect to act, right?!!
Chickadee panel?
Keensandmerril had a t shirt on awhile back that I HAVE GOT to get.
Does Coopers shirt say something about pollution? Can’t quite make it out.
We planted a tree when my song was young… it grew very fast, faster than him for a little while, but then he grew up and went a way. The tree is still there, it reminds me.
Hugs, Tricia
Thanks for understanding.
Tricia
those are funny shirts, but alas, i don’t have any siblings to wear one for
Oh, what great pictures. The fidgety pictures are fun.
I remember when my brother and I were young – as young as yours here, one minute we’d be playing together and laughing and smiling. Then suddenly we’d break into a fight, ewww don’t touch me, don’t even LOOK at me. ah, well.
I love birch trees. I love trees. But I can see that at the rate you’re going with three kids bringing home a pine tree each every year, well, yeah, the school system should consider that and change things up a bit, huh?
But I was raised near the pinelands in NJ, and I just remember when I’d be among them and the air just smells so clean and slightly spicy.
@ElevenStones - It says “Air polluton stinks!” lol
HAHA! I love what the t-shirts say
Oh dear. They are priceless. And your captions, Angi… woohoo.
Your kiddos are too cute! It’s such a good thing that they are aware of thier impact on the planet and are willing to celebrate earth day!
) You’re such a good momma! Also, thanks so much for coming by and wishing me and Brian well for the wedding. I really appreciate it! There are photos up if you want to come have a looksee.
)
Your kiddos are ADORABLE! And too funny to watch the sibling interplay, even in these quick snippits!
Great shirts! I wish that more people would get into earth day. I only ever remember doing anything when I was in elementary school – even in middle and high school they never made a big deal out of it, which I think should be different. But who am I to start changing around what and how we teach people?
earth day is tuesday. eons ago i got a kitten on earth day so we named her ‘earth’. she was my first grown up pet (ie: pet that you get after your grown and on your own). i loved her!
Such fun and smiling children
I love pictures of siblings together (there were four of us)! I wish I had many more of us – don’t forget to take lots, they are priceless! Peace
Awww, I forgot about Earth Day, such a beautiful way to celebrate nature! Recycle my sister…bwahahahaha!
wish they had those t’s when I was a kid.lol
I just came in from the garden and wanted to stop in and catch up on a few posts…
but I am too lazy to switch over to my xanga account so I am using my wife’s account.
She was already logged in.
I am not really lorilily…
I planted pine trees in my yard and keep them groomed for Christmas trees… if you planted one every year and cut one every year your could have 12 trees and a perfect 7′ tree for the livingroom.
Ah, these will go in the priceless memories vault, along with the pics.
When I was a kid, my mom and I had matching shirts. It said ‘Insanity is heriditary, you get it from your (mine said) parents/ (Mom’s said) kids.
Sherri works at Walfart, and they must have given out recycling bags that had these recycled business looking cards, You are supposed to plant the cards, and wildflowers will grow from it. I still need to plant it, because it was late when she got off of work.
Hugs! Tracy
Those pics are awesome; great sibling interactions. The kind you look back on when you’re 30 and laugh! I love the narrative to go along with them too!
Great t shirts they’re all wearing.
Those T-shirts are great!
Cute shirts!! Isabelle’s hair has really grown!! All 3 are so adorable!
Great sentiments! I should have recycled (1) of my brothers years ago.I didn’t know it was Earth Day.However on the BBC news last week we were told it was America’s ‘WEAR YOUR PYJAMAS TO WORK DAY”!Some priority malfunction from the BBC methinks!
Those t-shirts are great!
