What was the first album you bought?

My first album/ tape… was the Footloose soundtrack.  I wanted it so  badly. I hadn’t seen the movie. We weren’t allowed to go to movies when I was younger. It was the only one I was ever sad I couldn’t see because all of the kids were talking about what a great movie it was at school. SO I went out and bought the music. I loved shaking my bootie to I Need a Hero! What a great song. VERY 80′s.

What can I say, I didn’t develop my impeccable musical taste until a little later in my life.

I saw my first spring robin this morning. He was singing such a pretty song. Seeing them again every spring makes me realize how much I miss them when they aren’t here.

BIG things happening today.

We have company coming this weekend.

I have all of the curtains open and I’m cleaning like a crazy person!

I just wish I could tell I had cleaned.

I only have half a mountian of laundry now to get through.

My moment of JOY came yesterday at my sons school program.

For weeks I had been hearing him sing a song- The Fifty Nifty United States.

Yesterday I sat in the gym with my mom and Cooper and watched the kids give their best.

(have to say it… I HATE taking pictures in a gym!)

But as I sat there watching them sing and lift their signs, with other proud parents and grandparents.

I thought… Wow, this is IT.

Saw the sunset yesterday and counted 39 deer.

The best egg hiding spot EVER courtesy of my sister… well and my Pop.

Someone had a little bit of time on their hands I would say.

Beth a.k.a. Seedsower has put out a call for graduation pictures, and like any really smart person, when Beth tells me to do something I DO IT!

SO here I am before I got my first real beard and mustache.

Yes… I was an artist hippy chic. Who can say their really surprised?

This was supposed to be the picture that went in the year book,

but the teacher said it looked like my head belonged in the Thanksgiving Day parade

She picked out a different picture from the photographer,

Of course I hated it, but she didn’t care.

Yeah, she wasn’t my favorite teacher.
