  • Oh Baby!

This morning we got to have breakfast with one of my Brother in law and Sister in laws!

They just had a new baby!

I didn’t hold her because I’m sick and I didn’t want to pass germs.

I think it’s the first time I’ve ever been bummed I couldn’t hold someone else’s baby.

Uncle Ben got to hold her though… At first she was concerned and then she went right to sleep.

Cooper was fascinated with her tiny hands and feet.

While we were eating she woke up and fussed, Cooper whispered in my ear.

“Did they buy her mommy? ”

I didn’t ask him why he wanted to know.

    He’s NOT getting any!

  • She is a beauty!!!  I love him asking about buying one.

When Cody was about Coopers age we had a cousin pregnant. He was fascinated with her belly. We told him there was a baby growing in there and we would see then soon. He kept lifting up her shirt to try and look at her belly. This went on for hours, it was quite funny!!!

  • Sweetie baby!!! Maybe they will have a sale, 2 for One.  Wouldn’t that be super!

  • Tell Cooper that their is a kit that you can buy at the Walmart to grow babies.lol

It’s called first alert? or something to see if you’re at the optimone time to concieve.

  • Wonderful pictures!

Cooper’s comment reminds me of a recent experience with my infant grand daughter

We were in an I-Hop eating breakfast and little Gracie was being a perfect angel.  A boy about Cooper’s age came by our table to check her out.  He cooed at her and made a few comments to her in a sweet little voice.  He asked me if she could talk.  I said “No, not yet, she is only 8 weeks old”.  He accepted that answer and smiled and walked away.

A minute later he returned, looked at her again, then looked at me and said,

    “Can she listen?”

Yes, I suppose she can listen…lol

    Peace, Jay

  • Babies are great… when they aren’t whining, crying, and fussing…

    dan

  • @Danth - Here! Here! There is nothing quite as peaceful as holding a sleeping baby though… that part I do miss a little… Other then that… thank goodness those days are gone!

  • @Slag_Runner -  Take advantage of it now… some day she will pretend she doesn’t hear you!

  • @angi1972 - I agree whole heartily, Ang. I loved it when my kids slept on my chest. Now they are much to big to do that. And they don’t fuss with me, though they do with each other quite often.

  • The photos are absolutely stunning!
    Hugs Tricia

  • @Hellion_Rebellion - Oh no! I am done stick a fork in me! Ben would have ten more though if he could. I feel a little bad about not giving him more…

  • awwwwwww-are you SURE he can’t have one?

that is just too precious. I love babies

  • my best friend and his wife just had a baby.  i never want to hold her, not because of germs, but i don’t want to hold it wrong or drop it

  • Ah, c’mon mom if you buy one for Cooper he will have a baby sister to love and protect the rest of his life!

Great pictures, I adore babies, lol, can you tell?

  • New babies – wow

  • You could not hold the baby , Ang , but you took priceless pictures . I think of the three hands for instance .

    Love

    Michel

  • If they stayed so tiny and cute and sleepy, it would probably help, but I’d still not be tempted to get another one. Just wait, Cooper’s going to be asking for and saving his allowance so he can buy one just as cute. Fun pics. Of course.

  • Mornin Glory……….ilym

  • Oh, come on, Mom.  GIve that boy a baby sister.

  • Thanks. And congrats on the new addition!

  • I have always said,  children under six months are not to be photographed…  or cannot be…     You really should have informed this young mind the real cost of children…  and demonstrate it using candy or sugar…  bags of sugar..

  • Kids are truly a blessing (though they can be a handful @ times)!

  • I love listening to kids’ thoughts and perceptions of things! It’s amazing to hear what they come up with! He is too cute btw, LOVE the sledding pics on the previous post
