  • Perfect Picture Subject

So this years perfect picture subject is going to be…

    (drum roll)

    cemetery 082.jpg

    DOORS!

I know, the picture is of a window…

I don’t have ANY shots of doors.

Seedsower however has a great start on her year and has already taken some door pictures.

I know Digital Detours, aka Green Panther has some…

So anyone out there who is a picture taking NUT like we are…

The perfect picture search is DOORS…

This will hopefully get me through those BLAH times that everyone gets,

when we just don’t know what to take pictures of.

If you want to participate, please do! At the end of the year we can all choose our favorites.

    DOORS!

    Edit

    I found one!

Its there you just have to… look closely.

  • i love pictures of doors.. and windows for that matter. i still want a window pane to decorate my house with. that sounds weird. i suppose it could be with mirror instead of window–then it would have a purpose and be slightly less weird, right?

  • I love taking pics of doors!  This will be alot of fun……may even motivate me to get out there just so I can share with you :)

  • Doorways make you think of what is on the other side…the continuation of simple things, like pillow fights, a tea kettle whistling.  The imagined scenarios of what people do…the sight of them sets your imagination afire!

  • I love this subject! There are cool doors everywhere! I will post mine tomorrow!

  • Dang! I was hoping it would be trees… or lighthouses! LOL

  • nicely done…

  • I really like the grapes, too!

    Kathi

  • @WinsomeONE - Win of course you can play! Just look for what you consider to be the perfect door over this year… Post the pics to your blog so we can all ooo and ahhh and at the end of the year we will post the ones we consider to be our personal best. It’s really just a way to get through those times when inspiration is hard to come by… I can’t wait to see what you come up with!  ( no pressure or anything)

  • @Shirlann - I am always looking for the perfect tree or lighthouse… because I know you’ll love them.

  • Doors, huh? I can do doors.

Sunbeams are going to be on my top 10 list of things to photograph this year. Also, I want to get a good picture of a row of birds. I think I may get a collection of birds in a row pictures. I’ll call it “On Bird Row”. LOL But I’ll add doors to the list, too.

  • The Doors!  Finally someone’s looking for Jim Morrison, I never did think he died in Paris!!!…Oh….. real doors…… Never Mind………

  • Weird as it might sound, I love door-pictures!
Besides the beauty of them, may it be ornate, modern, rustic, whatever, I always wonder what is behind the door.
    Who lives there?
    What there live is like?

I might try and take a few door-pictures too.
Specially when I go to Europe in May…they have the bestest doors, hehe.

    Have a wonderful day, sweetie.
