I’ve been thinking about stupid lately. Stupid is not good. Well, unless your a cow or a chicken in a slaughterhouse and then I am thinking you would want to maintain your ignorance as long as possible.

I keep thinking the world has been going “stupid” for a while now.
Sometimes I prefer being stupid. I’d really rather not know some things.
I love the Einstein quote… it sounds like something Mark Twain would say. Either way, it is surely true.
RYC: American Idol started 7 minutes ago, but I have to let some time go by, so I can fast forward through the commercials. It’s worse than the dang Super Bowl.

stupid is hard on the one who is ,and even harder on others if he ,or she is in charge of things….
I agree with Weird Al. It ain’t gettin’ any smarter out there. The sad thing is when you see an idiot who is either in denial about his/her mental capacity or completely unaware that the smart wagon passed him/her by.
Something tells me there is a story that goes with this post.

there was a Far Side cartoon back in the day that pictured Beefin’ Bob’s Slaughter-house. There were a bunch of cows waiting to get in the slaughter house…and one cow turns to the other and says “I hope this ride is worth the wait.”

Well, as Ron White likes to say… “You can’t fix stupid!” I like to think he means “willful ignorance” which seems to be the natural state of many of the people we share this planet with. I find I get rather disappointed to discover just how many people in this world choose their ignorance and, yes, stupidity, over learning lessons, becoming educated, or even TRYING harder. Thanks for depressing me.

Well, I disagree. I think stupid is ok. We’ve been talking about stupid a lot at work lately, and we’re convinced that some people really are just stupid. So we make a list of them and promote them so they can’t do any harm.
i tend to agree… sometimes it might actually be nice to be dumber than a box of rocks. seems like that would be a whole lot less pressure. tee hee!!
angi speaks the truth. =P (I wonder what Albert would think of American Idol..) ryc: come join my belly dancing brigade. It’s lovely on the abs and simultaneously makes me feel prudish. That’s a great combination.
Stupid is as stupid does. Campus security even has a term for it. Felony Stupidity. Like leaving a laptop in the coat room and thinking it will be there 2 hours later

Reality sucks a lot of the time; hard to blame the ones that check out and go stupid, but its us realists that have to clean up the mess.
