  • THE list

    • First thing on my list is a LIST… every night before I go to bed I will make a list of what I need to do the next day, and then I will accomplish it!
    • Work on my glass work every day during the week for at least two hours… If I am going to be making money at this, I need to be treating it as a JOB not the hobby it has been.

That’s it! Hey, I never said I wanted to be an over achiever! There are a couple of other things I’d like to do…

Another tattoo is on my life list… Also Mom and I have discussed ROAD TRIP plans! To go visit SeedSower and check out her general area… These are things I only get to do if the money allows, so I had better get to work!

  • sounds like a good start to me.

  • That’s great that you are trying to turn a hobby that you like into something that can make you money.

    Cheers!

  • yep lists lead to productive stuff becareful

  • I like lists as well…I kind of do them as an ongoing part of my evening journaling.  I do like to give myself “wiggle room” by remembering that my life is “progress, not perfection :)

  • Are you still working on panels for the cabinet makers?  Show pictures.  I like lists…when I can remember where I put them.  My daughter is much better than me.  She makes her lists on index cards and keeps them in her purse/diaper bag.  I don’t know where she picked that practice up from, certainly not me.  Peace

  • Cool plans, definitely. My daughter and I travel together all the time…we have made it part of our “stuff” in between jobs, school and life happening. Sounds like a great plan! ~ Jeanne

  • Attainable is good.

I seriously need some fresh ink this year. Nag me about it. For me, it’s all about the $$. I just can’t bear to shell out hundreds on it. But I need to. I have a fugly ancient tat that looks like shite and is quite visible in workout wear. I’m ashamed of it. I loathe it. And it’s got to go!

  • I want to see the tattoos………..I have plans next year to travel to the

tennessee smoky mountains with friends and then of course visit Mary Ann…….

  • Teach me how to do glass please.

  • Seedsower and I have to meet too when you going?

  • I do love me a good road trip.  Hate having to wait for funds, though.  Sounds like a good plan for 2008.

  • i write all kinds of lists

    then forget them

  • I agree with your second item. You are so talented with your glasswork, you should kick it into high gear to make some money

    Best wishes!

  • I write lists too… but they don’t always get accomplished!!! lol

  • Hey, at least it is a list you can stick with, not overwhelming.
And you should make your art a job. You are wicked at it. I would buy it…definitely.

How many tattoos do you have?
    Pictures?
Oh, and a roadtrip to TX would be very fun.
    Just saying….

    *hugs*

  • What would you get a tattoo of?

  • Oh, girl…I love lists…cannot survive without them!  Just don’t tie yourself up in a knot over not accomplishing any items…just transfer them over to the next day or week!

  • Hey I do the lists. It works, sometimes all do not get accomplished, but it keeps me organized!

  • who is this digital detours? nice photos.  So you’re going to see Seedsower neat. Is your mom on Xanga?

  • Seedsower is a gem!

  • RYC: One photo just for laughs.  (Yes, I mean that literally)

  • Another tattoo?
Don’t recall seeing any photos of the first one(s)
I almost never make a list except at work, maybe I should start.

  • Hey Angi, its been a long time since I commented on your blog. I hope you have a great year. If you havent stopped by my blog in the past few days, please stop by. ECWFan80′s (Amy) father passed away on the third of January. I had one of those gut feelings aboput it and it sadly came true. Well you can leave a comment on my blog like signing a condolence book for Amy and her mother. I will keep the blogs up till next Tuesday. So if you feel like commenting, please do.

  • Hey Ang…ryc…if it helps even one person out there, my public service work is done for the year…Laurel makes lists about lists…those wacky type-A Virgos…if i ever get a tattoo, i’m getting one on my ass, that says, JELLO…lol…hugs…animal

  • Frankly I would be  curious to see a sample of your glass work Ang  . I remember perhaps I saw it in a far past but it would be such a pleasure for me , for us , to see it again .
Encouragement for the list and happy year 2008 for you .

    Love

    Michel

  • i make lists of everything……then i lose them :)

  • You are one smart cookie Ang!  Great idea making a list for one day at a time! So, what is your other tattoo? and what will the new one be? Road trips are GREAT…get busy girl friend! :)

  • Thank you for linking digital detours, Angie!  Believe it or not, this post made it to the third page of Google :)   The more links out there with the name, the better my chances of being seen!

  • I would love to see pictures of the glasswork as well.  ( I am really liking seedsower what a great lady, funny how it was her pictures that brought us together as well.)

  • Yes, I want to see some glass too.
The list really works! I made a list every day when my kids were little of everything “to do” that day. Divided up my work for the week. It helped. Good luck!

  • you really must stick to the last one,  I would like to commission something  at some stage.    Of a couple,  in wedding attire..   is that possible?  and what would the cost be,   be realistic.  I don’t know when  but it would be like a table ornament for when I do wedding shows.   It only needs to be shaped,  not perfect…  infact the less perfect the better  if you get my drift.

Maybe you can have a think about it.

  • I too have a list…  it has started this evening over tea
