I’ve had this cold since the end of October… It must like me.
Today I said goodbye to

Once again…
I know its better for me to only drink my water… But
I miss it.
The good thing about being sick and giving up caffeine…
I’d have the headache either way.

Oh Its so bad for you….. but when you’re sick, anything goes… are you going to have all of them at once?
more likely you’ve had two different colds.. or perhaps three… A virus usually needs a buddy virus to spread… to make you sneeze..
RIP caffeine high
It’s a hard habit to break!
hahaha..man it will be a year in a month that I quit smoking member that?!
is it the caffeine or the sugar that you’re gonna miss from that radioactive yellow stuff???
There’s nothing wrong with caffeine in the morning.
condolences on your recent loss.
i like the photos! but yEah, i guess too much caffeine is bad. btw, i don’t drink soda.. i enjoy drinking water instead
I’ve been weening off of the sodas as well. Can’t quite give up the morning coffee tho. Hope your cold hits the highway soon.
dude. get rid of that soda! i haven’t had a soda in like tow years? i so dont miss it. once in a while i’ll smell marks soda and it smells like a heaping pile of chemicals. grody.
good luck!
yes, and room temperature is better for you-the water I mean.
Can honestly say, I’ve never tasted Mountain Dew. My mum drinks a lot of black coffee and daren’t go for hours without having a cup or she suffers real bad headaches. Makes you wonder of these drinks are really that good for us, huh? Be well!
I am not a big fan of fizzy drinks – fruit juice is okay, but I am a water baby. I drink water 90% of the time…..and I get “sick” if I dont have at least 2 litres a day…I actually get a terrible headache and have no energy, can you believe that?
Hope you had a good weekend Angi!
(((HUGS)))
man, u are soooo brave!!
I don’t drink sodas but once in a great while, they make me more thirstier the more I drink them….
Glad to see ya!
I don’t drink regular soda…but don’t think I’ll ever give up my Diet Coke or coffee…tried to go the “no caffeine” route once or twice…didn’t make it…it’s my one true vice so I guess it’s not that bad…Have a great day…hope you feel better soon…Rainy
Get well soon! >:)<
It really wears you down when you get one of those colds that hang on. Hope you feel better before the holidays.
hmm i drink coffee and diet coke.. but i’ve only ever once done the dew. I dunno its too sweet or something.. anyhow, good luck kickin’ the habbit
and heaven knows MD is LOADED with the caffeine! you are a brave, brave woman. I couldn’t do it.
I hope you feel better soon…have you been to the doc yet?
You brave brave woman! I hardly bring soda into my home…..I addicted to the stuff. When I see all them empty soda cans in the recycling bin….I get so disgusted with myself…..
Sorry that you still have the cold….bah hum bug!
Thanks for your comment!
Later,
Gina
I rarely drink pop – unless I’m out to dinner with friends. I like juice!
I’m sorry about your cold! I hope you get over it soon!
From the end of October Ang ? It ‘ s time to see good morning to Mister the Doctor .
I wonder what is this mountain of boxes . Are you draining your body with this ?
Love
Michel
Drink soddaaaa….
Drink soddddaaaaaa…….
Who said you have to give up caffeine for a cold? Is that a rule, I mean DANG………..Have you tried whiskey and lemon and honey? It probably doesn’t work on a cold but it might make you feel better…..get well soon Ang!!!!
I am such a Mtn Dew fanatic. But I can’t drink it after 3pm– it keeps me up at night. I hope you feel better soon.
Fine, more for me. Someone has to keep the soda companies in business. I feeeeel the pressure to single handily do it. That is what the addict tells herself as she bounces off the wall. Gots 2 keep up with the kid some how. (Who rarely ever gets pop.)
So sorry you had to give up caffeine. If I had to give it up, I would try to wean myself off of it over time. I really get grumpy if I don’t have it within 48 hours. It’s one vice I hope to be able to stick with as I get older.
My wife gave it up for awhile and she took plenty of headache medicine to alleviate the symptoms. Be careful of over the counter medications. caffeine is often used to treat headaches.
