  • WOW!!!

The things you can get done when you don’t have an almost three year old attached to you!

Cooper went to a daycare for the first time ever today! He didn’t even notice when I left. It is now official! Every Tuesday, Cooper will be going there and I will be going to the glass company or where ever to do MY thing! Some small semblance of freedom! It has been NINE years! NINE…

Why did I not do this before?!?!

Well it had more then a little to do with not wanting or having the money to spend. Now that I have sold some pieces I can kind of justify it and that makes me feel GREAT! I also had the nice surprise that a bunch of my cards had sold too! So I will be printing some more up as soon as I can, winter and fall ones and taking them in.

Freedom, no matter how illusionary is a good thing.

  • Slightly Pathetic…

Does anyone else pick the marshmallows out of the Lucky Charms cereal and eat them?  I find that it’s much easier to do if you take the whole bag out of the box…

    WHAT?

    SO?

What are your plans for the day?

  • A POINT OF VIEW! I HAVE ONE!

I HATE it when people talk on the cell phone when they are being helped check out in the grocery store or a store of any kind. I understand if you are talking on the phone while standing in line, but once your at the cashier there is an actual person there who is actually there to serve you! Get off the fricking phone! They make self serve isles now… if you want to talk on the phone use those! What? Would that require too much brain power? Can’t walk and chew gum at the same time?

I was in the store today when a woman was doing just this thing, she was talking on the phone as the cashier was ringing her groceries up. She looked at me and  motioned with her head towards the cashier and mouthed “SO SLOW” and gave me a little smile… I just gave her a blank look like I didn’t know what she was saying. She looked down at her toes and continued the conversation. She produced a check and handed it to the cashier, took the time to ask for 20 cash back and left with her groceries, not even saying thank you!

I moved forward and said “Man, I can’t believe how rude some people are!” To which the cashier replied ” And she had no sense of humor, I thought it was funny that I was going so slow!”

We just grinned at each other.

Cooper, who is three, just came up to me and told me his butt was freaking out and he needed a diaper.

How exactly does one’s butt freak out? Never mind… I don’t really want to know.

  • TAGGED and NaNO!!!!

    EDIT*************************

    In other news…

Since Wednesday morning, my daughter has only removed her cat suit to go to school… She has worn it to bed, gets up, dresses for school, comes home undresses and on goes the cat suit… hood and all. I think she likes it.

    ********************************************************************************

Okay. I have been tagged… By jillcarmel!

Eight random things about me… Hmmm…

    1. I can love almost anyone. I always trust people until they do something to make me not trust them.
    2. I am very free with my friendship, but I don’t pursue friends.
    3.  I always assume people are telling me the truth because…well…why would they lie?
    4. I am quick to forgive once I get it all on the table and out of my system. If I think about something and stew on it it will take me that much longer to get over it, it is better for me just to spit it all out even if I say some things I regret.
    5. I like to act like an idiot once in awhile. It just feels good to me.
    6. I am a voracious reader. I LOVE to read.
    7. I can’t fall asleep if my husband falls asleep first, I have to fall asleep first!
    8. I dream of BEING something better, of DOING something more with who I am.

    Okay my TAG is done.

On another note… It is NaNO Month!!! Who’s in?!?!?!?

  • HALLOWEEN

I know you all may be sick of Halloween pictures by now. These are for Aunt D and the inlaws, who love to see their Grandbabies.

Last night we went trick or treating at the assisted living facility where Ben works.

    ^^All of my Monsters!

Cooper saw me drawing whiskers on his sister and decided he would be a kitty too.

It was a win situation getting drawn on and not getting in trouble.

Charlie actually scared a little girl, as we were walking in she started crying,

it took us a minute but we realized it was him that was scaring her.

He wiped off the mask and smiled at her and gave her a wave, the Mommy said “See! It’s just a little boy!

He felt awful for scaring her, even if it was unintentional.

Most of the residents dressed up, they lined the hall with tables full of candy. It was packed full of employees with their children and people from the community.

Cooper became a little mercenary, by the time we got to the last hall he was asking for suckers.

“Trick or Treat! Got any suckers!”

Hey, he knows what he wants!

    Halloween 048.jpg

This lady was so cute she was trying to find a sucker for cooper before we got to her table.

Ben helped her dig one out.

Cooper went around to her side of the table and snuggled up to her to help her look.

In this picture she hasn’t noticed him yet.

He got right up to her and said “Did you find a sucker?”

When she realized he was there she had a HUGE smile on her face.

I wish I had caught that but I was to busy being amazed at how pleased she was by a little boy begging for a sucker.

And this last picture is what I imagine the devil to really be like!
