Xanga… What makes Xanga so wonderful?
The blogs- sometimes thought provoking, sometimes full of fluff and air. Sharing the bits and pieces of others lives, tiny windows into worlds we may never have seen without Xanga.
The people who write the blogs- us of course, the users and addicts of the Xanga world.
Then there are the people who keep Xanga running the Xanga team!
If I have ever had problems I contact one of them and then in a quick and always kind manner they fix it. For example If I should say… upload my pictures with the wrong date on them… they fix my photo album for me without… calling me an idiot.
(Thanks Janet. ) Recently John did a post on featured content and the responses front page featured receive. In the comment section I asked if I could choose some of the featured pictures and BAM! Just like that I have a message from Natalia saying go for it!
So Xanga let me pick some front page photos! Ask and you shall receive!
Thank you guys for letting me have fun and thank you for making Xanga such a wonderful place to share thoughts and to make GREAT friends of which I am blessed with many.
The pictures I chose will be appearing on the front page soon… One just went up today. It is of course Seedsower’s who is one of my all time favorite photographers.
Hope you guys like what I have picked so far.
Oh and if you should stumble across one of the Xanga team. Let them know that you appreciate them, they are special.

I’ve dreamt about random xanga people before… I think it happens when I read subs before bed. Anyway, I had a dream that I called you to exterminate my apartment or something equally as strange. And then after waking up and falling back asleep, I dreamt about telling you about the dream.
Yeah, they really are a great bunch. When I think about all the wonderful people I’ve “met” thanks to xanga it warms the cockles of my heart.
I heart xanga too. haha.

and, ryc, i tend to exaggerate when it comes to numbers, but i’ve come back from a weekend with 300-some emails to answer – thank goodness i have replying down to a science

It’s good to know that the Xanga team is so helpful. So far, I haven’t had the need to call upon their services. But it’s great to know that they are they are so helpful!
I agree about Beth’s pictures. She does beautiful work and deserves to be honored. That was so nice of you to do that for her!

Ang- you are usually right. BC tends to get heaps of snow but I am quite close to the ocean so we get very little (USUALLY)

xanga = wonderful
random: can’t explain much but xanga is the best there is. i have tried other data hosting stuff and can’t help but compare how different xanga is. i guess what makes xanga the best would be the people using it.
I am not a xanga addict…
I can quit anytime… as long as there is no internet connection…

Yeah me too.
Before you go thinking I’m way cooler than I actually am…after joining the Y, I got 8 free sessions with a trainer. 2 a week for 4 weeks. I’m hoping to accomplish a lot in those 4 weeks or I’ll have to shell out some cashola for more trainer time!
…and yes, what would we do without Xanga???
ryc: oh, for christ sake. read carefully; i never said what i write is boring. or, really. that i’m bored. just that this account doesn’t do anything for me anymore; i’ve too many people subbed to me for it to be what it was originally intended to be.
Glad to see you up front and center. You do take some great photos. And I still believe that Ghostbusters would have been better with the Big Boy playing the role of the Stay Puft Marshmallow man . . .

I love this site! Yes, am addicted to blogging, gives me an outlet for my thoughts – good and bad. The people you encounter along the way are wonderful as are their ramblings, photographs and thoughts. Haven’t interacted with the Xanga team but am grateful to them for this place. Great that you got to choose some of the front page pics, you talented lady, you!
