  • Holy Cow!  You’re going to be making a LOT of buckles it looks like.  Why is your refridgerator so stinkin clean????  Did you yank everything out and put it on the counter just to take that picture?  Thank you so much for sharing the pictures of your kids and for their patience too.  I used to do things like that when mine were little.  It won’t be too long before I can do it with my grandson.  Anyway, I’m looking forward to the second installment too.  Maybe we’ll have Christmas Buckles!  Peace

  • don’t know what buckles are but they sound tasty

  • Very cute pitures!  Cooking with kids is so much fun!  (and often messy )

  • Happy thanksgiving!

  • Not everyone has patient parents who teach their young to help. Thank God those two kids had someone patient watching over them. That is Thanksgiving, the culmination of patience and hard work that results in a havest of food, bounty and love.

  • oh, i want to try making buckles! i’ll have to tell the fam about ‘em.

and i wish i had time to see other travelers! i booked it through that airport – i’ve flat-out run before, but this one was more of a leisurely jog

  • Wonderful post, love your little chefs in the making. Now all I’ve got to do is work out what 1T is and make sure I read the next entry!

  • you have alot of help too

  • that looks really cool…

  • Yummy.

  • never mind generation gaps, me own gran made x-acktly the same bucklets but with a slightly other receipeeeee! Over here the big time for baking oily goodies used to be around end of february begin of march… What about the difference with the ingredients? There was but one slightly barmy three year old in the kitchen at the time, thus me. So I guess and hope the kids are still used in an striktly ornamental way…. Good, glad to hear… well, reading along…

  • …about your headline, darling! not a complete idiot… giggles helplessly shrieking with laughter: …but working hard to become one at its own time? You are so young and crispy, beware of haste…. Read who is writing, screeeetch! ow this bottle of wine of mine needs a rest. To our health, 72ie and to the health of our offspring, cheeeeeeers!
