you’ve lost that inspired feeling whoaaaa that inspired feeling
you’ve lost that inspired feeling cuz its gone gone gone… whooaaa whoa hoooooo
heehee, wanna try? dancing to silly music always puts some sort of new thought in my head… not always good ideas, but new ones nonetheless
I have found chocolate works well. Not the cheap stuff either. A box of Godiva truffles, good music and some hot guy winking at me does it for me (ok, that last part I usually just make up, but it works!)
I can’t remember the last time I felt inspired. But I love your photos.
They are lovely photos! Sometimes just taking a step back and concentrating on something else entirely can recharge the inspiration! *hugs*
At least, that’s what I keep telling myself – though I argue my reasoning with myself and remain skeptical! ;-D
And if that doesn’t work, k8tthelate suggested the ideal fallback – chocolate!
Pamper yourself. Put clothes on that you feel good in and then go treat yourself to something you like.. relax and enjoy.. things will be prettier again, maybe?
Uninspired or not, I love the pics, especially the berries. I blame the dreary, cold weather. Have a night out with female friends…eat, drink, laugh, gossip and hug, always works for me.
a nice long nap, a great cup of coffee and some new music always inspire me. But mostly the nap!
I dye my hair. I know, it sounds odd. Something about changing the way I look tends to help change the way I feel.
The other option is to change your surroundings. I once painted one of my living room walls bright blue in an effort to get me out of a funk.
Sorry you’re uninspired!
I’m waiting myself…in the middle of a project (new family room) and lost my drive…I just have to wait it out…it’ll come back…love your leaf pic…Rainy
Oh, I usually post a lame picture or two and wait for the compliments to pour in to make me feel better about myself and what I do. Then after a bit I can go out and get some good pictures. Except, I don’t get all that many compliments on my photos, lame or not, and when I go out and find some great pictures to take I realize I’d left my camera at home! LOL, that’s the way my cookies crumble! Hope your day improves.
I donated a free 8×10 portrait (plus waiving the sitting fee!) to my daughter’s school’s fun raising auction, I figure it’s a great way to get my name out there. Yeah, I’d rather do nature pics any day, but portraits are where the money’s at. Wish me luck!
I try to get a good 6 hours sleep and I wake up feeling good and have the energy to do anything I had been wanting to do,it just flows.
if THOSE are uninspired pics, you have nothing to worry about. beautiful.
my “inspiration” is illegal so pay no attention to me.
I pray ,that usually lifts my spirits and I see things through more thankful eyes!
Looking for the mojo…..
for me, of course…its beer. but you knew that already.
are those china berries?
I’m still waiting too!
You’re uber-creative. It’ll come back to you.
Pincherries??? The berries remind me of being back home in northern MN. Very inspiring indeed!
Everyone seems to be feeling quite inspired by your photography, myself included. I hope you find your own inspiration. As consolation remember everyone has cycles and this just may be one of your downcycles, and before you know it you’ll be back on top of the world.
Looks like you felt inspired enough to take the great pictures!! How do I inspire myself? sometimes, it’s loud rock ‘n roll–sometimes it’s looking within, to see what my emotions are! Hope you get some more inspiration. Glad you liked the O’Keeffe idea!
I just wait. It has always returned eventually — kind of like Bo Peep’s sheep. Can you tell I’m in a down phase too? I read The Persian Pickle Club with my book club friends a few years ago. I got online and found a persian pickle pattern because a few of us are quilters. It was fun. Let me know how you like the book.
For being uninspired, those are gorgeous pictures! We all have our periods of uninspiration, but luckily in a day or two it passes. Just give your brain a rest!!
Happy Hump Day!
I love the berries picture! I would call it… INSPIRED, honey.
For inspiration, I have found that doing something different tends to help… take a different way home, go to someplace different for lunch, change your scenery!
