SUMMER REVIEW
Looking for new card pictures,
in the process I get to review the summer.
It was a great summer!
Lots of festivals, nature walks, and the beach almost everyday.Isabelle went on a ferris wheel with me this summer.
She knew I wanted to take pictures.
Every time the bucket moved,
you could see how uncomfortable she was
and a little afraid.
She did it for me!
I felt SO LOVED.Yup, it was a great summer.
I am going to do my best to make it a great winter.
Sledding and snowshoeing are on the list.
Lots of hot chocolate and warm hugs.
What are some of your favorite winter activities?

I love every season in its time, but late winter and early spring last a bit too long
Those are some pretty cool pictures! Winter’s my least favorite season, but Christmas makes it all worthwhile!
downhill and cross-country skiing.
not going outdoors at all is my favorite, i hate the cold.
Holding up in a bomb shelter till winter passes. Man, I like cold weather. But not when I have to walk everywhere in it.
Those are great pictures. Winter time = cozy
My favorite winter activity is waiting for it to be over.
ryc: We can rebuild that part of the brain – make it a bionic no-sugar-brain. Yeah. It can happen. And you might even like it.
i know i tell you this time and time again.. but your photography is simply amazing!!!
ryc: so.. afraid of santa suits are ya? don’t worry.. i think we all have at least one fear like that. me? i am TERRIBLY afraid of escalators!!
I love fall the most–the leaves, the whole getting-out-the-sweaters activity, Halloween, and the whole anticipation of the Holidays. My favorite snow activity is playing with lil one, buildig slly things. Looking forward to our yearly Yosemite trip.
ryc about Dyson: What a thoughful suggestion–that how clean our house is an extnesion of ourselves. I mean, no matter how someone claims they’r a slob surely there’s a modicum of shame when people come over unannounced when there are socks and shit all over the house that are visible to them. I’m a a slob naturally (my mom used to have hissy fits about my being one), but now as an adult, a wife, a mother, I’d have to admit that I’m not the only persn to think about anymore. I kee my hous relatively clean and neat. I’m not obsessive, but some days I am. Our place is filed with light, windows everywhere, and you can see every little dust, clutter, youname it–and it can dirve me nuts looking at them and not doing anythign about it.
oh, and what beautiful pictures. You always please
Making snow angels!! I LOVE that second picture, is that on a card?!
I’m in for some hot chocolate!
oh winter… i love how i come just to the point of suicide due to being cooped up all season long, then just as i’m about to suffocate myself in a plastic bag, the weather breaks and i turn back to my old miserable spring self.
SKIING!!!
I love your pics
Sounds and looks like your summer was a great one
(Of course mine was spent nursing my broken ankle back to health, but next summer will be different) I dont really care to do anything outside in the winter anymore. It’s just too cold for my aging bones. I do love that first snowfall, and having an ice storm come thru and cover everything in diamonds.. hmmm someone mentioned cozy, yep, inside, a nice warm blanket, a good movie, a bowl of hot buttered popcorn and a nice cup of hot chocolate… Those are my favorite winter activities
RYC: thank you for the prayers for my son, right now I figure we can use all we can get
I’m not a fan of old man winter..I prefer summer. ….I will make the best of it though…great pics
i guess hot chocolate is my favorite activity
The first and the third one are my favorites. Building a fire and staying in with friends and good wine. I’m much more of a summer person.
Well Angi, come to Australia, it is late Spring and Summer begins 1 December. Think of Christmas on the front verandah, sipping a cool Bud light or Zero Coke and eating a cool ham salad with Pudding and Ice Cream, then cooling off in our swimming pool.
Denis
Not a fan of winter…think it looks beautiful…especially when the trees are covered in ice & the sun shines through them, but my favorite activity is looking out the window and thinking “how pretty” while I’m inside all nice & warm…lol
Is it SPRING yet!!!!!!!!!!!!
Love all the pics but the second one is too cool! I’m not a fan of winter either (as winter as it gets in S. Calif) but I do love a fire in the fireplace.
I enjoy long walks in the winter. If it’s not too cold, I continue to go jogging and bicycle riding. I like to fight the “winter blues” by getting outside and being active in the winter.
I love that second shot, so colorful! I am terrified of ferris wheels and haven’t been on one since my sister started rocking our cab when it was stopped at the top. That was probably 40 years ago!
