HALLOWEEN
I know you all may be sick of Halloween pictures by now. These are for Aunt D and the inlaws, who love to see their Grandbabies.
Last night we went trick or treating at the assisted living facility where Ben works.
^^All of my Monsters!
Cooper saw me drawing whiskers on his sister and decided he would be a kitty too.
It was a win situation getting drawn on and not getting in trouble.
Charlie actually scared a little girl, as we were walking in she started crying,
it took us a minute but we realized it was him that was scaring her.
He wiped off the mask and smiled at her and gave her a wave, the Mommy said “See! It’s just a little boy!
He felt awful for scaring her, even if it was unintentional.
Most of the residents dressed up, they lined the hall with tables full of candy. It was packed full of employees with their children and people from the community.
Cooper became a little mercenary, by the time we got to the last hall he was asking for suckers.
“Trick or Treat! Got any suckers!”
Hey, he knows what he wants!
This lady was so cute she was trying to find a sucker for cooper before we got to her table.
Ben helped her dig one out.
Cooper went around to her side of the table and snuggled up to her to help her look.
In this picture she hasn’t noticed him yet.
He got right up to her and said “Did you find a sucker?”
When she realized he was there she had a HUGE smile on her face.
I wish I had caught that but I was to busy being amazed at how pleased she was by a little boy begging for a sucker.
And this last picture is what I imagine the devil to really be like!
Handing out donuts!
Hope you guys had a GREAT Halloween!

aw.. how could anyone be sick of such cute pictures? You have some sweet children there, ya know.. feeling bad for scaring somone, helping look for the right candy… awesome!
great pics, Ang. Not sure who got the biggest kick out of the evening. The kids; the parents; or the Seniors. Truly a win-win-win for everybody!
re:
yay and thank you
awwww how sweet
Okay, so these are the BEST pictures!!!! I love the ones of your family – but especially love the outfits here and the joy on those old folks faces!!!! WELL DONE to you and your family for bringing some light into those precious dears hearts!
Looks like you guys had fun…and yes, the devil brings doughnuts and all other fatty foods!!!!! When I pick up 20 kilos I am going to send everyone here : The devil made me do it – LOL!!!!!
HUGS for you, and thanks for being such an awesome friend! AGAIN!!!!!!!!
The kids are cute. It never gets old looking at all the halloween outfits. We took a few photos yesterday of our kids.
How cute! Er, I mean, SCARY!
Looks like you had a blast.
Trish
the devil handing out donuts….she should be handing out bourbon and cigars with them too.
As always great pics. Angi thanks for shearing. Brought back a lot of old memories. My mom died in a nursing home. I haven’t been back sense.
Great costumes!! They are precious!! I know you all made a huge difference in a bunch of lives last night!! I love old people!!
I’m not sick of Halloween pics, have just sorted and resized all mine and am still on a high from the party last night…might be all the sweets we munched…who cares???? lol. Your kids looked so cute! Love the costumes. It’s easy to forget how much pleasure oldies get from our kids isn’t it? Glad you all had a lovely time.
i like that you went to the assisted living place for halloween.
yeah candy…..the kids look great….that is a good Idea I mean, where you took them to Bens work I bet the people there loved it
that is so true-donuts! Cooper is so cute! and some kids are really scared of everyone who even remotely looks scary. My Phillip was like that when he was like 3yrs old.
How Nice of Ya’ll!!!!! You do good Ang…..
Aw, the pictures are adorable….everyone had a great time! It is so nice to spend some time with the seniors during Halloween….sadly, I didn’t even think about them….I do during christmas, thanksgiving, etc.
Later,
Gina
I always thought you only had two kids???
I am a donut brain!!
Cute pics Ang.
Happy day after Halloween
awww! what precious babies you have, and what an awesome blessing that must have been to the residents! that last picture and comment about killed me… how darn true is that!! darn donut pushers! lol
That’s awesome, and I am sure that the residents had a great time as well. Nothing like a little (bribed) attention from a bunch of kiddies to make your day.
Cheers!
P.S. Oh, and I’m bbaaakkkk! At least for now anyway.
Cute, cute and cute. I think it’s awesome that you took the kids to the facility. What a treat for the residents.
All of this halloween makes me miss the days my girls were little, and they went trick or treating. Your 4 boys are quite handsome! I think that was sweet that they went to the nusing home. I wish Doug’s grandma lived here, we’d go see her more often, but she is in a nursing home in Charlotte… she has Alzheimer’s really bad. I wish the Good Lord would just take her, so she could be with her hubby and sons, instead of being stuck in a nursing home where she remembers nothing, and it seems that the only one profiting is the nursing home itself.
I know, a bit much to post. Maybe it’s just that my youngest is in Ohio right now at a drum convention, and that’s where Grandma spent so many happy years. I guess I just miss her, and the kiddo, and want happiness and the good ol days right now…
Don’t mind me… between hot flashes and mood swings… I’m hopeless these days! *sigh* ROFLOL Hugs, Tracy
AHAHAHA…the devil handing out doughnuts.
Isn’t it amazing how good kids make older people feel. Charlie is a real sweetheart.
RYC: No, I don’t have a novel and I won’t in six months. I haven’t check that guy out for the photography but I think he wants some magical photoshop work on the images and I have only been taking straight pics.
***gasp*** one of my bosses must be the devil : he brought us doughnuts this morning for morning tea!!!!!! LOL!!!!
Serious, I had to smile when he walked around with this big box offering everyone a doughnut, made me think of you instantly. Don’t know why on earth he bought us something today….maybe hes celebrating something we dont know yet???? hmmmm……
Have a good weekend Angi, and THANK YOU for everything!
