  • Isabelle helped me plant 200 muscari bulbs under one of the maple trees in our yard.

We found some owl pellets under the tree and are looking forward to dissecting them tomorrow.

  • you have this amazing ability to make ordinary things extradorinarily beautiful!!

  • I’ve planted a lot of muscari bulbs but never seemed to get them to grow. Good luck with yours, that is a lot of work.

  • Whats an owl pellet, owl poop? Why do you want to disect it? I better not find owl poop on my side of the cell

  • how can you get such detailed photo’s do you have more then a 3.1 mega digital?

  • I love all kinds of bulbs………….I once planted tons of Ranniculus bulbs…… I loved the color of them but didnt like the snakes they brought.   Great photos……….

You gotta teach me stained glass………..I know the basics but I dont know the depth………..

  • RYC yes you should come back and read……….

  • Wonderful pictures! I also love the delphia glass in the prior post!!

  • It feels frosty here; but not quite yet. Not likely either in Georgia in October! Love the pics, though.

RYC: Glad you got it & it made your day. Sometimes it’s hard to get postcards out to everyone who might like them; but I try to make the effort whenever I can. Hope all is well with you. Check out my post today for some stained glass pictures that are amazing. The pictures aren’t amazing (I did what I could); the stained glass is.

  • Owl pellets??????? *laughs* Your kids must love having a mum like you!

  • I was wondering about the owl pellets, too?  Is it what I think it is??

Wow .. you had frost already?  I guess it’s not hard to believe since it is almost November.  I totally lost track of time and I guess I’m not looking forward to winter .. blah!

    Have a wonderful weekend!

  • Those muscari’s should look great under the maple tree!

    Frosty? omg…too early for that!

    Good to see you…

I am a Chinese, my name is called Jackie¡K Your xanga entries are very meaningful?I hope I can become the friend with you? May I??

  • Neat, owl pellets.. hehee. I need to plant something. My bell peppers are still growing.

  • I was looking at your posts before this one…I have an alligator head just like that one! LOL

RYC: I didn’t have cake. I’ve eliminated flour, sugar, and starches from my diet since early July, and I’ve already lost about 25 pounds. Yes, I was starting to become a heifer. No, okay, I was a heifer. I may blog about it. I feel so good physically. Now I eat high fat, moderate protein and very low carb.

Still, I couldn’t resist using the cupcake mini…lol.

  • Beautiful photos. Lovely visions of autumn.

  • If those are grapes…for shame they had to be ruined by frost.  Grapes are teh rox.  The first picture is dizzying spectacular.

  • arent you supposed to have owl vom sanitized before you dissect it? we always got owl pellets that had already been processed or something so that they werent as gross… but yea- it is pretty cool, maybe you’ll be able to completely reconstruct a vole or something, woot!
