  • ARTOMAT Goodies!

Some of my new friends don’t know that I have a small addiction… ARTOMAT! I guess you know now.

If you want to see my Artomat purchases from the past there is an album in my photos blog.

Here is the link to the Artomat site, just click the machine and it will tell you ALL about it and where to find them.

I wanted to show you my most recent treasures but for some reason Xanga isn’t uploading for me today, I wonder if I offended the God’s of Xanga upload in some way… Hmm… I’ll try again later.

I do have some pictures of something else cool that I purchased. I just couldn’t help myself.

I know some of you will look at it and think WHY?! MY GOSH! WHY?! Well… because,

I…just…couldn’t… help myself!  I collect things, I like looking at things. Tiny collections are my favorite. I don’t get terribly attached and often I will give things away or trade things, it’s more about the experience of a thing, or being able to enjoy something for awhile. That makes perfect sense now, doesn’t it?  Something else my newer friends may not know, I can be a bit tacky. Enough of the build up, This is what I bought, it is what it is, no one else has to like it.

I bought him at the Antiques Mega Mall. What a cool place that was. Jill you would have LOVED it! There was stuff everywhere! I also found a pair of the Bailiy’s winks cups that I have been looking for, but I had already decided to purchase Watson here, so I will continue my search for those.

Alright, I will try to upload the Artomat ART later… I WILL!

I love screen printed images. I don’t know why, the lines just appeal to me.

Also I thought the Monster Box was the way to go in light of the month.

Detroit artomat 076.jpg This is a piece of resin jewelry that she has poured layers of resin and painted on the seperat layers so there is a little three diminsional diamond painting in it that you can’t see in the picture.

Jon chose one of these too, His had a folk art skull in it, I was jeolous!

So those are the ones I got this trip. Right now all of them are in a neat stack in my studio, but I have plans to hang them up soon and I will post a picture of them to show you all then.
