I just woke up from my nap. I hope you had a good time.
Everyone seems sleepy here, I am just about to drop into not so well earned rest… Tooot tooot for steam!
It’s a very lazy, nappy take it easy kind of afternoon….I’ll be curling up with Indiana and a new book and will probably be napping myself in a few.
The turtles look like they are sitting on a tire. What fun. I’d crop the top of the photo off so the focus is totally on the turtles and their reflection. I fyou were lower and the weeds just a blur if would be different, but right now the stuff looks messy and draws away from the coolest aspect of the pic. Awesome job. Oh, and I love the “fan” of the lily pads.
Ryc, yeah, I pour that roca onto a pan, let it harden and then slap chocolate on both sides. But if it makes you think of pudding, I’m okay with that.
aren’t naps a beautiful thing!! i just got up from like a 2 and a half hour nap. only problem is, hope i can go to sleep tonight! tee hee!! had wicked crazy dreams while i was napping. one of them was really good though, and i was a wee bit sad when i woke up and realized it was a dream. big sigh….
I’m going to something like that on Sept. 8th. It’s at the entrance to Penns Cave in Pa. They have it twice a year in the spring and fall. Huge tractor show and steam engines, cider presses and antiques and flea market items. My friends and I try to go every fall. It lasts for four days. What a great time we have, unless it rains. WE went in the rain before and slipped around in the mud, won’t do that again.Another thing we enjoy is yard sales on the way to the event. There are alot of them because they know when all the people will be going past. Found lots of goodies over the years. Hope you had a great time.
MUCH better! Don’t you think so?
Oh, forgot to mention, if you want some roca, send me your address and I’ll send you some next time I have some spare. I think I have some raspberry roca in the freezer now….
Much better. Yawn….
ryc, the mountain by itself is Mt. Hood, in Oregon. I have a lot of better pictures of the mountain, but none of them have tiny little barns (ok, so it MAY be a house) that would make it qualify for a barn picture. Mt. Hood is part of the Cascade Range. The other mountains you see are in the same range, (I think) but much further north. I can’t remember exactly where I was when I took that. I think I was geocaching in Canada at the time.
Thanks for the extra comments on my photos. I didn’t know that could be done. There’s a lot I don’t know about Xanga… when I have time I’m going to learn more!
can’t beat da turtles… “Happy Together”
really cool. Needed a nap myself…
Nap would have been nice; but I think I’ll settle for bed early tonight instead. Kiddos are getting snotty again; so I think it’s time to drug ‘em up and get them to bed. Joy.
looks good
Our napping day was Saturday, no turtles for us today on the St.Louis too fast for them I suspect.
Oh I like your new profile picture, wondered what you would look like clean shaven.
nice photos again
Love those turtle pics….VERY cute! And wish I coulda gone to that show with you….I am sure you had a ton of fun!
Love the pics!.
And thanks for keeping us updated on the bowel situation You’re such a good lexbian!
Great pics!
RYC: Not much to tell geocaching wise – the kids don’t generally like to go and my husband wasn’t with us this trip, so we only did one cache while we were there if you don’t count the rest stop micros… I will tell about that one later though
Beautiful pictures. Looks like fun
As always your photos are beautiful… I like the turtles enjoying the tire too btw
Smile Angi! And visit soon, I miss thee.
