  • Hmmm… maybe. :-)

I thought about going home and getting a ladder and going back… Don’t think I didn’t. There are no trees to climb around there. They will be there for awhile yet. Their nest is by The Grass Lakes Quiet Area which is one of our favorite hikes to do in the summer… We will be going there again… so maybe I’ll remember that ladder.

BoydCreek has done several posts on his town! Check them out.

    Have a great day! Ang

    BECAUSE IT MADE ME SMILE.

This morning when I woke up and was getting out of bed… hair messy, still in my plain old white broad cloth night gown… my two and a half year old  looked at me and said. “Your beautiful, Mama.”

Yeah… I think his father is training him right.

  • isn’t that grand?  So sweet–and you are.  Last night I was talking mine and I kept thinking to myself–how so lucky I am to have this wonderful little person.  heee–corny but true.  As I was watching 21 Grams, gah, it made me think that if I lost my family…I would die.

  • What a wonderful morning… I haven’t heard those words in many years…, but I dreamed of him last night, when he was a little boy, I wonder if that is normal?

  • Awwwww that’s sweet!!

  • How wonderful! Little boys are so darling…and truthful.

  • sometimes they can’t help but make you smile…

  • RYC:  I’m definitely sending the story — just trying to figure out which of 5 options is the best possibility . . .

. . . and that photograph of yours is wonderful.  Brings back a thousand images from my childhood — so full of excitement.  How long did it take to get the lighting right?

  • My 14 year old still tells me I am beautiful. He makes me feel so good.

  • There is nothing so precious as your own children paying you compliments.

  • Boys are sweet like that. I had a charmer like that too.

  • Simultaneous submission to multiple magazines isn’t an option.  It’s just too much work for the editor to sift through so many stories only to find that the one they have chosen is no longer available.  So, I’ll have to choose one, wait for a decision, then repeat the process if I’m unsuccessful the first time around . . .

My son is three and a half — so many things that he says are truly priceless . . .

  • I can never convince my wife that is very beautiful just when she wakes up and moves towards the kitchen for the first cup of coffee.  There is just something about her just getting up that is very attractive.

All males have it in their DNA to compliment the gals–starting with mom, never sisters, and always when meeting new ladies!!

    Hugs,
