Why didn’t I take a picture of the flip flop in the pile?
Because I was that grossed out and disgusted.
All I could think about was getting it off of me.
Ok… moving on.
The Betsie Point Lighthouse.
I love it, If we lived closer I would be there all of the time.
It is however the scene of Sammy’s unfortunate noggin incident.
I can’t wait to go back.
We didn’t find the cache… so we have an excuse.
Like I need one.

OH, I should mention that D beat me at 90′s edition trivial pursuit.

Well, it’s a catchy song, I’d be surprised if you didn’t have it stuck in your head for the rest of the night and, who knows, maybe tomorrow morning too. But that, of course, isn’t my intention.
Lighthouses always make me think of old horror movies, and that last picture is nice and chilling. ["chilling" is italized for effect]

OH MY WORD!!!! These pics are like something out of a movie – I think it is sooooo freaking awesome that you get to go and actually see that lighthouse in real life. We have them too, but just the plain round “light” part…no actual house attached!!!!!! WOW!!!!!!!!!! You sure are one lucky gal! Have a good week Ang! Missing you lots!

Well I’m sad the cherry festival is over…..I’m also glad you don’t take crappy pictures…(that would be so wrong…. totally unlike you) I love the barn photo’s best – saturdays with the cows and blue skies were really great – Can’t wait to see the Boots!!!!! Watch your step hunnie cause as Forrest said ” Shit Happens” – (sorry I couldn’t help myself)

I LOVE lighthouses!! And that is a very pretty one!!
I think thats a great idea, and a hobby that your kids can be involved with as well.
What do you use for a GPS? I still have yet to replace my little cheapo one, keep hoping Trusty could get the hang of it but she is resisting all efforts.

You know me and my “lighthouse problem” as my hubby likes to call it. I LOVE these photos! I don’t even think I’ve seen this lighthouse live and in person (or even not-so-live and in photos) before. Thanks for sharing! I like the fog rolling in shot myself.
RYC: It’s only a plane ride away, honey! Europe has such cool things to photograph on every street corner; but it’s hard to do when you’re technically only there for business… they kinda look at you funny if you start photographing every interesting building and flower.
Reminds me of the lighthouse in the film The Ring. Trivial Pursuit, hell me and the hubby played it with the brother in law and his girfriend at the time, forfeit for getting a question wrong was a shot of Aftershock. I woke at 3am on the bathroom floor, on my knees, arse up in the air. That’s what I get for being thick I guess LOL
