GEMS FROM CHARLIE
Ben and I took Charlie and Is to see PC3 there is a part where they show the dead kraken laying on the beach. Charlie leaned over to me and whispered… “Aw Mom I bet that would have been a lot of good sushi…” I gave him a look he said “What? I like sushi!”
I know I’m bringin’ em up right when they like their sushi.

OK I’m off to the post office today to send out three more MAILART.
Only four more to go and then I should have everyone finished.

Tug Boat w/blue sky
On Memorial Day night I went back to the field of flags.
I was the only one there and it was scary and sad.
The wind was flat and just as I was ready to leave it came up a little as if to wave goodbye.
It’s hard to get a picture you like when there are casino lights in the back ground.
But I do like this one.
Which do you guys like? If any, and why?

I like the picture of the barn, but the purple weeds out front look bad – they need mowing
I like the tug boat picture best. I like the black & white tones of the boat and water and then the blue on the horizon is just right. I hope you continue to post your pictures – I love seeing them. Peace

Of the field of flags I like the first one the best, the depth of field makes it seem as if the back flag is beckoning me to come closer.
I like the tug boat too, but what is really great is yesterdays picture of the sandy toes!!! Got hit on eh, good for you! Have a great weekend – take lots more pictures!!!!

i’ve never had sushi before… thou my cuz tells me I’d like it… as for the pictures… I like the first one, how the flower is the only thing really in focus… and the rest are kinda dreamy like… but the colour really POPS! although that last one is really nice… meaningful…
do you use a digital camera? what kind? been thinking about getting a new one… one photo software do you use as well???
anyway… ttfn…
I have never had sushi- but that could be because I know what it is.

Is it still considered to be sushi when you can cut slabs bigger than a Texas steak at a family Bar-B-Q? I am not sure of this… but then, I am not a sushi kind of a guy. Is kraken any good with ketchup? Worcestershire sauce? Krakatoa sized barbecue, anyone?
RYC- The photos were from NW Montana, not Wyoming. Sorry for the confusion… I was both places that trip. Incidentally, they meet on their western common border side at none other than Yellowstone National Park… which is really pretty scenic in its own right. Thanks for the comment.

I know I must confuse people sometimes though, because a lot of the things I do contradict what I’d do anyway…

I think I like the first one best… the lighting is just perfect and the contrast between the flowers and the barn is really neat. You take GREAT pictures, honey! Keep ‘em coming.
RYC: Thanks for the sweet words of sympathy and wishes for a safe journey. We’re here, safe & sound, and I survived going to Super Wal-Mart in rural Kentucky on the first of the month (also a Friday). My, what an interesting cross-section of humanity! We only have to be here for two and a half more days… just two and a half more days…

I thought Pirates 3 was better than Pirates 2, but not as good as Pirates 1.
