Cooper and I were out and about today.
We were taking pictures from the dock and Cooper was begging to go on the boat.
After talking to the man a bit and finding out he knew my Pop from fishing circles.
I let cooper take a quick walk on the deck. B kept asking if I was sure I didn’t want to come aboard. It wasn’t until I was walking back to the car and he yelled “Come back anytime.” That I realized he had been hitting on me… In a very nice, friendly way… Still who hits on a woman with a toddler? Especially when she looks like a bum in shorts and a tshirt dirty with little Oreo cookie hand prints on it. I guess some men just like low maintenance women.
I live in a resort town.
Right now it feels like everything is waiting.
Not these guys though.
Cooper and I had a very nice day.

Cool boats!! Looks like a very fun day w/the lil one!!
neato!
such beautiful images–what kind of camera do you have? Supposedly I have one of the better digitals, but I feel that it takes crappy pics–may be it’s the photographer that’s the problem heh. So, You live in a resort town–egad, I would loooove it. I know now what you mean by disappearing from blogging–heck, I would be at the beach from morning til night! I love beaches, and watching people. My kid can’t get enough of it. You got extra room in your house for three people?
Great photos! You have an eye . . .
Obviously B saw your inner beauty shining through. And maybe he likes Oreos.
I need some time on the open waters. Arrggghhh
so did you like amos lee???
i like the name cooper A LOT>>>>>
hi Ang,…..ryc…..you are such a little troublemaker, asking Laurel to smack me again…..must be the mommy in you….great pics, by the way….right now, i am watching a horizontal rain, from my 6th floor studio….i have to step out later, otherwise, i could watch it rain, all day….something about renewal, and the quick cleansing of the neighborhood…..how’s the eye doing? …better, i hope…….hugs….animal
You know the saying, “If you’re lucky enough to live on the water, you’re lucky enough”? Well in my personal opinion…you are a lucky girl. I like all the pictures but the one of Cooper’s sandy little feet is just the best! I’ve been wanting to do something like that with my little grandson – you’ve inspired me. Thanks for sharing. Peace
ryc – the fees go to community common area maintenance, snow removal, pond maintenance, community improvements, legal fees and property management fees etc.
ryc – I had to deliver mail today so I haven’t been on any equipment to tear up. I could’ve killed a HUGE snake that was crossing the road way out in the country but I decided to let him live another day. I am going to take those pictures of our baby – I’ll share them when I get it done! Peace
Awww!!! how cute…
well I must say that gives me hope that there are some men out there… not that i’m currently looking… but I’m thinking life might get lonely after a while…
anyway… I so miss the beach… can’t wait to get back home… what kind of body of water is that???
love the sandy feet!!!
ttfn…
I love this…just love it!
Flipper~
Ah I loved the photographs, especially the waiting resort pics. Lovely shots they are
Love the pics—and- hey he was a man.. Men usually hit on anything..the dirty handprints made you approachable….he he he.
Some great photos! Love the feet especially. Wish I lived in a resort town.
ryc: yeah I could have gone tomorrow, but I’d have to take the kids w/ me and blah blah blah… when he offered to stop by tonight I was like OK YEAH!!! he needed to stop by and get the dolly (hand truck, whatever) so… I can deal w/ ‘em when thier dead it’s just the scurrying and wiggleing that gets to me
ttfn…
Awww, looks like a great day!
Trish
I don’t live in a resort town.
I’m pretty sure you’re well worth hitting on! And I am glad you had such an awesome day…………the pics are beautiful, and I wish I lived in a “resort town” – I live at the coast, but its nothing compared to the typical American resort town!
RYC : Thanks Ang, for all the support and encouragement in a time when I really need it. I wish I could explain fully what was going on and how I feel, but I can’t. Thank you for all the compliments too, even though I don’t feel that way right now.
Have an awesome weekend!
I wish the beach here looked like it was still waiting. It’s just the opposite….they all arrived last weekend. Now the tourists won’t stop until September. Making it twice as bad…everything has went up in price…gas…coffee shops…restaurants. And the traffic is a pain. My normal 20 minute ride to work takes almost an hour most days.
Nothing wrong with the guy hitting on you…at least he was friendly and not a perv.
Have a relaxing weekend Ang!!
Such pretty boats— a resort town, huh? Sweet.
Cute sandy toes!!!
RYC: Some people do like hearing about my geocaching, but my family would rather hear about the kids, so have to try to please everyone
I will be posting more caching stuff, never fear, as I am in the midst of the Adventure Quest game (http://www.thecachingplace.com).
Those photo’s are great!! I really like the feet!! and the blue and white one. Good eyeball Ang!
You take awesome pictures! The first boat one (that you later played with and turned the sky bule) is my favorite. It made me want to play with it too. I get teased about my photos of feet and admit to a bit of a photo-foot fetish, so I can really appreciate the last pic, too!
I used to live in a tourist town, some of it was fun but there were a lot of parts about it I didn’t like. Prefer the waiting time to the busy time, that’s for sure. Hope you have a grand summer.
I haven’t been to a beach in a while.
Well, I did go to the lake about 4 weeks ago, if that counts.
