MMM… Yummy…
Went to lunch with Ben today and on the way back we saw this fella on the side of the road about a hundred feet in.
He had found some lunch for himself. I know I still have requests but I am finding so many other things I want to post too… You would think I would be in a posting draught… but I’m not. Go figure.

Very cool!
great pic, you always take wonderful pics
For a minute there I thought you meant the YUMMY for the eagle! Nice nature photos. It’s cool that you had your camrea with you when you saw him!
That is so cool that you were able to capture pics of an eagle that close without being at the zoo or somewhere like that!
wow great pictues… I remember as a kid seeing them all the time by my grandparents place (galena, il) we actually saw some at the zoo… they had been injured by gunshot wounds, and were unable to fly… it was very sad…
what was it eating??? could you tell??? once at my old office I saw a hawk kill some sort of small prey and eat it… this was before cell phones w/ cameras in it or even before everyone had digital cameras… so of course no picures…
ttfn…
shucks, all i saw today was a guy in a cow suit sitting on a bench reading the paper (seriously)
we never get real wildlife other than squirrels and occasionally rabbits late at night, stupid campus in suburb/city
Are you serious? You really got to see an awesome bird like that? I’m impressed! You probably know (I don’t) what kind of bird is? Peace
Way cool! I’ve only seen those in the zoo.
Nature is so beautiful!!
WOW!! That is sooo awesome! what a great pic!!
Its a pity you didn’t have a gun… would have been a nice trophy…
I don’t care if they’re protected
Oh wow, those pictures are AWESOME. I’ve never seen one up so close, I was pretty excited to see one w/ a nest on top of a tree within binocular range when I visited Maine (weird, I first typed “when I lived in Maine.” haha, I’ve never lived in Maine!).
oh, my gosh! How often does one see that? I hate you.
I wanna see the guy in a cow suit sitting on a bench reading the paper…
The eagle pics are very cool though.
Excellent. Eagles are cool, even the ones not in Philadelphia.
he was really far away.. like 100 meters or something, and i would have become the crazy person that takes pictures of cow people if id have gone- and that would have been weirder than the cow!
at first i thought it was a advertising campaign for ChikFilA, stuff like that happens here.. but it was the wrong type of cow costume…
i promise ill try to take pictures next time.. or at least try to find the pictures of me with Woody the Life Sized Male Reproductive Organ and post that for ya
WE have so many eagles where I live..and they never fail to amaze me.
Mr O..should be SHOT for his remark *grin
WOW! That is awesome!! Great pics too!
Good think you don’t suffer from blogging dryspells. I hate when that happens to me .. that’s when I use that KY Warming Blogging Lube … it works wonders!!
Hope you are enjoying your hump day!!

Beautiful picture! Thanks for sharing. Have a wonderful evening!!
It seems you’ve lived in a lot of different places! You were so lucky to have seen that eagle! I’m glad you had your camera with you. Peace
What a bird! Only thing us Brits tend to see on the side of the roads are squished hedgehogs lol. Have a good day Ang.
stunning. how beautiful.
do you see that allot?
OH WOW! I wish I had been with you! That must have been so incredible to see!!!!! Have a good one Ang!
what a grand bird! great pictures too.
Wow! How close were you??? Very cool!
Great pictures, Ang! I had a buzzard watch me look for a geocache the other day, but despite them both being scavengers, eagles get a higher rating than buzzards so I didn’t get any pictures. Well, actually, I would have loved to get pictures of it, but I didn’t have my camera. That’s life. We have a lot of eagles around here (WA state), but I don’t usually see them close to the roads. Lucky girl, you!
Incredible bird. We use to live next to a river and in the fall during mid morning the bald eagles would play on the water. I loved to watch them.
Amazing, amazing creatures. Incredible photos.
You are exceptional , Ang . Yes , you have the art to see beautiful things or animals such this eagle and you have the reflex to take pictures at the right time .
Those pictures are amazing and I would like to have taken them .
What area can we see such rare specie in ?
Love
michel
Wow…truly beautiful and amazing. We saw a birds of prey show on our anniversary weekend…but they were all in captivity.
I must say something about this post because I love birds very much and I find it is always a great moment when a bird let see himself by us. I find this pictures so amazing and interesting ! (In addition of this, that bird doesn’t live in Europe at all) . Thank you for sharing this event !
Great Ascension Day to you
What great pictrures.
Great photos!
Trusty loves her raptures (not as much as cows)
We had a golden follow us down the river today, have noticed they do that before.
Kind of an odd behaviour but have seen it too many times now to dismiss it.
I have come across Bald Eagles along the road a couple times and did not have my camera with! Awesome pictures!
