  • seedsower has interviewed me with the following questions, so here goes! If you would like to be interviewed, just read the information that follows:

    1. What is the most important thing that you want others to see in you when they observe you.

    Kindness…
    2. If there was a soundtrack of your life what songs would be on it and why ? This is tough… there are so many songs that apply because of the constant music in my head… today the song in my head is Corinne Bailey Rae- Put Your Records On… If I chose lyrics that I think apply I would go with Natasha Bedingfield’s Unwritten-

I am unwritten, can’t read my mind, I’m undefined
I’m just beginning, the pen’s in my hand, ending unplanned

Staring at the blank page before you
    Open up the dirty window
Let the sun illuminate the words that you could not find

Reaching for something in the distance
So close you can almost taste it
    Release your inhibitions
Feel the rain on your skin
No one else can feel it for you
Only you can let it in
No one else, no one else
Can speak the words on your lips
    Drench yourself in words unspoken
Live your life with arms wide open
Today is where your book begins
    The rest is still unwritten

I break tradition, sometimes my tries, are outside the lines
We’ve been conditioned to not make mistakes, but I can’t live that way

Staring at the blank page before you
    Open up the dirty window
Let the sun illuminate the words that you could not find

Reaching for something in the distance
So close you can almost taste it
    Release your inhibitions
Feel the rain on your skin
No one else can feel it for you
Only you can let it in
No one else, no one else
Can speak the words on your lips
    Drench yourself in words unspoken
Live your life with arms wide open
Today is where your book begins

    3. Where do you find solitude?
Normally I find solitude in the bathtub… but ours is currently under construction so I am living without a place to escape and it is starting to drive me a little batty. If you notice a touch more insanity to my blogging… that’s it.

    4. All time favorites:
    Book -
Jitterug Perfume or Still Life With Woodpecker by Tom Robbins it’s a toss up

Movie - That’s like asking me to tell you which of my children is my favorite… I can’t do it… There are so many I enjoy two off the top of my head that are favorites… A Room With  A View and 50 First Dates

Artist/work of art-James Christensen I suppose mostly because I have met the man and because his imagination just bowls me over, it appeals to the little kid in me. There are so many more I like, I figure when it comes to art why limit myself.

    college of knowledge

College of Knowledge- by James Christenson

Song- Swing on a Star the Bing Crosby version

Album- hmmm… I’m more of a song collector then and album collector, although if I had to pick one I listened to over and over consistently I would say Cat Steven’s Tea for the Tillerman

Singer - It used to be Elton John who I still like but I think I’m going to go with James Taylor today.

T V show- I could watch Monk over and over but I like all of the CSI’s and House… Tom and Jerry is always good… oh my all time favorite is probably Murder She Wrote… gotta love J.B. Fletcher.

    Commercial -
I miss the beer commercials with the ferrets and the frogs… those were classic… of course… I’m Stuck on Bandaid brand cause Bandaids stuck on me… Or Munch a bunch a, munch a bunch ,Fritos go with lunch, bring back fond memories too…

5.What is your favorite memory? I have many many of those too… One that makes me smile right now is when one of my guy friends in high school knocked on my window early in the morning hours and said you have to see this… sneaking out we drove to the top of Wayne Hill  and watched the northern lights flicker. We sat there for hours talking and freezing sitting on the hood of his car watching them dance over The Grand Traverse Bay. It was the first and last time I have ever seen them that bright in Michigan.  Another memory that never fails to make me smile involves Isabelle and me scarring her for life… I posted on it here-http://www.xanga.com/angi1972/477239675/scarring-my-child-for-lifesomeones-got-to-do-it.html

    Bonus Question :
If you could visit any other time era for a week where would you go??

I think I like the 50′s… Just because I’d want a chance to walk around in an apron and pearls all day long… well okay so I’m more of an Overalls and blow torch kinda girl, but so many things were going on then that I would like to see.

Now its your turn to play if you wish!

Leave me a comment saying, “Interview me.” I will respond by asking you five questions. I get to pick the questions, and I will message or comment you with them and these directions. Just update your blog with the answers to the questions and include this explanation and an offer to interview someone else in the same post. When others comment asking to be interviewed, you will ask them five questions.

  • hi Ang…never thought there’d be such interest in a movie i made, when i looked like a muppet….lol….awesome that you had to look…he he he…..peace….animal

  • yes, I like your answers–so many questions.  One thing that I would like people to get away with when they meet me is that while I am not a nice person, in general, I cannot be effed with hahaha.  It must be the male/machismo upbringing.

If I could visit any era for week–well, that’s a no brainr for me–that flapper age.  Something so vacuous and mindless about the whole era that appeals to my hidden hedonistic fantasies.  Have a super wonderfull day.

  • I like The Hills…

  • Still Life with Woodpecker was my favorite for years! Tom Robbins lost me a few books ago, but back in the day . . .

I’m also stuck on that Natasha Beddingfield song. So is my husband and so is my 18 year-old daughter. It’s sort of in the air right now, isn’t it!

  • No bathtub and no car… I would go crazy without those things. BTW, kindness is the first thing that comes to mind.

  • Ang!!!!!!!

I LOVE all these insights into you and your life!  I also really like the “College of Knowledge” – we have similar tastes, you and I, by the looks of it!

Although I think I would’ve preferred the 80′s – really good music those days – LOL!

  • GREAT interview!!

  • Thought this was a great post. Loved the insight into the kind of woman that you are. Also share your love of the Natasha Bedingfield song, such inspirational lyrics.

  • RYC: Yes, Stereophonics are good, then again I would say that as they are from Wales like me. They’re quite mellow and the singer (who I personally, wouldn’t kick out of bed for farting lol) has quite a gravelly voice.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m9VKxX4DM8k  < One of my fave songs by them

  • I think we have the same taste in music!  LOL  I love “swinging on a star”! (And Unwritten)

    Ok, Interview Me!

  • Very good!  All your answers are well thought and written.  You are such an interesting person!  My favorite answer was #5.  The Northern Lights…I would like to see that.  Peace

  • I really need an excute to write something in my blog that’s new and perhaps interesting, so…Interview me!

  • Great answers and good interview! I personally would love to visit the 50′s too, although I’m worried I might affect the future then. Yep, I’m a major scifi geek.

  • Loved your post! Wish I could play right now, but I can’t. Deadlines. Sister coming. Hurry. Hurry! Catch you later. (I’ll be singing “Singing on a Star” for the rest of the day!)
