Hitting the Motor City Hard
Trying to get some projects finished up and pack. The monsters and I are going to Detroit… Yes, we are leaving Ben alone for the weekend. Well he’ll have Max to keep him company, and the hamster and the fish and the turtles…
Since I am taking my trusty extra appendage a.k.a. my laptop with me, I’ll be posting while I’m gone so you won’t even have a chance to miss me.
You’d miss me wouldn’t you? Guys? You’d miss me right? Aw come on…
***********************************EDIT*********************************************
How rude of me. For my newer friends I am going to Detroit because that is where my baby sis lives… She is a Principal at a school down there. She’s beautiful and brilliant, and the best part of her is my NEPHEW… the wonderful SAMMAN… Who I can’t wait to see. He is five months older then Cooper so they are little buds.
So that’s why I’m going to the Big D…
Well and I of course have to do the ArtOMat while I’m there and Ikea… And probably Greektown and I might drag everyone to the DIA, and the Pewabic Pottery… Oh yeah. The big city has a lot to offer and I intend to get my fill. Ang

Have fun, drive safe, and hurry back!
You KNOW we would!!!
Detroit? for??
Sounds so Big city..But then again, anything with a population over a t housand is big city to me *grin*
Happy Thursday Ang
RYC: Thankfully…it seems to be a trend that is confined to Asia. Asian Americans usually don’t feel the same way…so I’d be surprised if your cousin wanted to get surgery.
I miss you already.
Have lots of fun and we’d miss you terribly!
On the other hand, even if she takes the laptop, Max and I will miss her terribly.
The fish might too, if their memory was longer than 3 seconds …
Enjoy and travel safe…and of course you would be missed!!!
you are SO addicted to the xang.

I miss you already. You kids are soo cute!
Cute pics! I hope you have a blast in DEEEEtroit this weekend.
RYC: Actually, you’re not a meanie. Where my head is right now is that I want to see some sign that she’s really working towards making a change, rather than just talking about wanting one, before I even go any farther in my decision-making process on this one. Thus far, she talks the talk, walks a little; but doesn’t show many signs of anything permanent. Unfortunately, the counselor guy, when I said “she’s old enough to be able to start taking control of things herself,” says to me. “Maybe most 15 year olds would be; but this is not a kid who had anything resembling normal growing up; and I highly doubt she’s in a position to be able to do that.” Hmmm… triple crap. She may look like an adult, do stupid things like some adults, but BECAUSE of the situation she’s been in all of her life, not be capable of making the right decisions to change her life. What a mess.
Sounds like you are going to have a great time! Can’t wait to see the pictures you post. All this talk about ArtOMat,wish there was one around here.
Sounds like a blast!!
Have an awesome, fun and safe trip, sweetie.
Glad you bring the laptop, so we won’t have to miss you, hehe.
Love you, girly.
Hugs,
LeLo
