  • ben piano 003.jpg I have to ask… Is this how any of you would want to spend your afterlife? Stuffed and paddling a canoe to no where in a Mickey D’s?

    Not me…

    Poor little critters.

ben piano 002.jpg There was another one over the pop machine. At least these two have each other.

He was all alone in his little boat.

Now I appreciate the funny and unusual… but really, where does someone come up with something like this. I mean come on.

Locus Delicti- Latin for ‘Scene of the Crime’… It’s on the mantel because that looks better then on the floor in front of the mantle.

We have three children. Only two of which were conceived in this house, so you have a one in two shot of guessing the right one.

    I know, too much information.

At least I don’t have poor little Rocky Racoon on my mantel. Ang

  • I SPENT ENOUGH TIME UP SHIT CREEK WITH NO PADDLE….ATLEAST THEN I WOULD HAVE A PADDLE!!

  • I appreciate you allowing me to have the brain this weekend. One of us has done something to it though…it’s not working right for me!

I don’t get the racoons, either…but I would so put that on my mantle. LOL…I’m heartless, I know…

  • What were they thinking?

  • I want those critters!! They would look superb in the 1950′s timewarp of a house I am rennovating right now!!!

  • These were in a McDonald’s?  How weird!!!

    Thanks for the prayers babe.

  • Not exactly the kind of  place I would expect to see stuffed Raccoons.  On the other hand, a talking Moose I’ve seen.

RYC: Couldn’t fix the one I lost.  Too bad though.

  • yay for featured content

  • Haha, do your kids know?

Taxidermy is even more disturbing to me than finding out where I was conceived would be!

  • There’s just something about a nice warm fire ….

  • Very funny though. And I should mention even though tomorrow is the superbowl I will think of you when I post poetry tomorrow morning…;)…

  • RYC: well you can send me women to help speed up inspiration anytime…

  • I had a pet racoon Rachel, my Dad gave her away to a farmer. I hope she is neither one of those! RYC: Yes, I was asleep then, but not for long. My sistr Kathi and I go thrifting on Saturday mornings. I don’t sleep much. Thanks, as always for your beautiful comments.

  • that is horrid are you kidding me?stuffed racoons in a micky “D”‘s eww

  • RYC:  I need church today.  – a refilling – you have a good one also.

  • poor lil critters!   have a great day baby!!!!!

  • Have fun watching the commericals [game]

    Who are you rootin for?

  • There pretty cute, but not in a Mcdonalds

  • Those critters make great hats.

  • Hey thanks for dropping in on racing spirit, YOU THE WOMAN

  • Um. and a giant stuffed bear in mom and dads house is not as funny?

Oh, did I ever tell you about the time Sara and I put Mom’s bra on that bear?

  • It looks like they’re from Pocahontas.

  • That would be cute if they hadn’t been alive once…  My dh walked by as I had them on my screen and just said “What on earth is that?!”

  • Wade and I have about 15 Raccoons that come up at night to feed, we feed them everyday, they even come to our back door and scratch at it if the food isnt out. We have about 5 that will let us go outside with them and hand feed them treats, its really cute when they bring up all the babies. We love our little wild friends.

  • aww they are so cuteee!! :)

  • I’ve just been really lazy and haven’t gotten on. XD

  • Yea that is a bit weird to be found in a fast food restaurant. Although you do live in the sticks.

  • I had a friend that would feed the wild critters off her back porch. There was a skunk that apparently had been hit by a car or was otherwise retarded. It couldn’t walk a straight line and would hide under her spindly 3-legged BBQ when she came out. It never sprayed, just hid, thankfully. I think feeding the live (even stupid) animals is better than watching dead ones pretend to do something they never would when they’d been alive.

Here’s a thought…these might be the same raccoons that had been rummaging in the Dumpster behind McDonalds, only they look too skinny.
