bonanza80 tagged me to do a post on my favorite things… I’m not sure what my favorite things are anymore. I’m discovering I’m a fickle person when it comes to things, so I need to give this one some more thought.
PLUMBER BUTT. We have recently had some work done at our house by a plumber and guess what he didn’t have plumber butt. A very nice surprise. Last week I had another surprise though that was not so nice. I went to get my hair done and the stylists there were all very ‘stylish’… go figure.
The women where all wearing tight shirts and those jeans that sit on your hips… They looked very nice actually.
My friend Russ was cutting my hair… he’s a barber and I like him. So I was sitting in his chair and we were talking. When one of the women across from us dropped her comb. When she bent to pick it up, She stooped in the proper fashion, bending at the knees… We all know I’m not great at that one all the time.
But or should I say BUTT… when she bent down her pants slide down two inches and she flashed the kind of cleavage I have only seen on a plumber or my two year old.
Russ, who is a heterosexual, happily married and the owner of the Salon Saloon… he serves his own special brew of beer, really its a guys idea of heaven this barbershop… I guess more so now that their flashing things. ANYWAY… He didn’t miss a beat and kept right on cutting while I stared in astonishment at this poor woman’s crack… What do you do in a case like that?

Oh, I hate that! When I wear lowcut jeans, and I didn’t think to wear a long undershirt or tank top to tuck in, I’ll pull my underwear (not thongs!) up just to avoid that kind of embarassment… I would much rather people see my underwear than THAT!!

Both of my little girls are always running around showing off bum crack, its just what they do. My 1-year old can’t seem to keep her bum cheeks in her diaper and my 3-year old is constantly taking her clothes off. Ah kids, gotta love them. Have a great day today! – Bek

You know you can fix those cracks with a little “Crack Spackle”….I had a video of an advert for that product but I think I deleted it. If I happen to be in view of a gorgeous gal showing off a little “crack” I silently thank them for the free show and go about my biz.
Speaking of butts…this may be TMI but instead of having a smile ( | ) like most people, I have a smirk ( / )…think about that one for a while………….

CJ: Not a birth defect I assure you. Had some minor surgery a the top of my butt a while back (related to my Crohn’s Disease). It hurt too much to sit normally so while it was healing I had to sit leaning to one side. My wife noticed one day that after sitting on more or less one cheek, the very top had healed sort of slanted so instead of a smile it was a smirk….she likes to tease me about sometimes but I think it adds character. ( / )

Stick? Wow, I guess you’ve seen some really flattering pictures! I’m literally about… 40-50 lbs overweight (this is a fairly recent development…going on zoloft, birth control, going off of zoloft, a bad break up and my dad having cancer– he’s fine now–) caused me to gain about 40 lbs over the course of the past year. I could lose that and STILL not be a stick. In fact, I’m absolutely kicking myself because I always felt so fat before, but I was really only 10-15 lbs overweight, grrr. Body image is absolutely ridiculous.
Anyways, thanks! I hope I don’t sound bitchy, I’d just feel like I was lying if I didn’t set you straight. : )

RYC – I think I just need a sign! Like my current office to fall down in the night, or the companies shares to plummet (Fat chance – naming no names, I work for a rather large American company.) Everytime my mind is 99.9% made up someone else sticks their big fat oar in and confuses me further. Anyone would think I was planning a revolution, not just moving jobs!

I’m tall, and long waisted to boot. Shirts are NEVER long enough for me and I just hope I’m not one of the people that show more than intended every time I bend or move to pick up a kid or dropped item. My ignorance may be my bliss, but it’s sure not going to make anyone around me happy.
