  • So much for the afterglow… I’m sitting here thinking about the week. How quickly it went. The loving, giving feelings that I had for my fellow man are slowly drifting into the past. I’m not saying I don’t  care about people. But I don’t look at someone and have cheer and goodwill consume my heart.

I’m thinking I should start evaluating the year I’m leaving behind so I can note my mistakes and accomplishments and take a general inventory on my life and what I want from it.

I’ve never been much for resolutions, not that I don’t believe in them. I just haven’t given them much thought. This year I’m going to though. I think my first resolution will be to stay away from the caffeine… That one should be easy, I have a head start on it. See now I’m getting ahead of myself first I should take a list of the last year. Yeah, I’m going to do that.

  • yeah, i officially VETO any and all introspection on my end until after i get back next week.

    good luck, though!

  • take a general inventory on my life …makes  sense.. but Chrissy I luff ya

  • you boob…you know what I ment..and I luff ya I dont care what you say

  • Although I am always a big proponent of introspection and personal inventory… I think the caffeine thing is a horrible idea…. BWAHAHAHAAHAHAHA.

  • I resolve to keep kicking ya ass at games.

  • YEAH RIGHT! TEAM ANGI-4 Team D-1  WHO KICKS WHO”S ASS!!!

  • New Years resolutions don’t work for me, but I say more power to ya if you do it. I can’t live without caffeine, I don’t think…maybe I should try…

  • I think New Year’s resolutions have a bad rap, they are too easy to break! So starting a few days early should do the trick. I’ve been off caffeine for about 7 years now and I can tell you, it makes it difficult at times trying to find decaf varieties to substitute, but it’s probably worth it! And in no way count chocolate as something with caffeine! Good luck!

  • I have never made a New Year’s resolution… probably because I know I would break it. I have been off caffiene for a long time… stopped drinking it during my pregnancies and stuck to it. I would occasionally have a can of caffienated soda but it usually just makes me feel sick so I usually try to avoid it.

  • I have the same resolution every year – not to make any.  That way I make it and break it all at the same time and can get on with the rest of my life ;)

  • Deep thought again I see. Resolutions don’t work for me. I am what I am because I made myself that way.

  • RYC: I’m here…I think I wore the poor boy out – but he fell asleep with a smile on his face…heh heh heh…I’ll help you clean up…Silly rummy horse – I just hope he doesn’t fall on anyone!

  • Remind yourself that the days get longer, from here on out, and spring will soon be here. Just in case, my optimism bothers you, I would like you to break my nose with your forehead, kick me in the nuts and then when you think I’ve suffered enough, drive the nasal cartelege upward with the heel of your palm into my frontal lobe.  Can you tell I had a bad day at the office?  Do you guys even have ‘boxing day’ December 26th?  They should give the clerks Boxing Gloves.  Makes sence to me.

  • thanks for your sweet comment !

  • I’m not much of a holiday person so much so having good cheer during them is really something to me.

  • w00t 16th

  • I have never been successful in keeping the resolutions myself. Making the list is always interesting, though.

  • Hmm.  I don’t think if it as an afterglow.  It’s more like an aftermath from which I need to recouperate.  I don’t do the resolution thing.  I do take periodic inventory and try to make some self-improvement changes, but never in January.  Have a great time with our sister!
